NXT name hurt?, Hornswoggle update, Lana update, assorted WWE press, top UFC name at WWEPC, Dolph notes, new WWE producers, and Questions on WWE doing shows without women, getting WWE to change with the new TV deals, sending WWE a message, dropping a men's tag title, and production for small promotions

Velveteen Dream was wearing a neck brace at Royal Rumble. We'll see if he's still able to work the next NXT taping and Halftime Heat.

Hornswoggle's Royal Rumble appearance was a one-time deal.

Lana is uninjured after her Royal Rumble angle.

Zelina Vega promoted "Fighting With My Family" with Latina Magazine. She's going places.

Stephanie McMahon, Seth Rollins, and Sasha Banks visited Make-A-Wish headquarters before Raw.

Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins "invaded" Dolph Ziggler's comedy show. I'm curious how his show is doing for non-wrestling fans.

UFC's Cris Cyborg was at the WWE Performance Center. That's going to get people talking!

Dolph Ziggler was not at Raw following Royal Rumble. It's certainly possible that was a last-minute final appearance before his hiatus. Time will tell.

Hurricane Helms and Sonjay Dutt began work as producers at Raw. Helms is something of a surprise given how regularly he still wrestled, including appearing for ROH a few weeks back. It's possible WWE scooped him up so AEW wouldn't, although certainly they're going to make use of him and he brings a lot of experience to the table.

- Jeff Jarrett has also joined WWE as a producer in addition to his on-air role. It's great to see him back in the fold with a full-time job after a tumultuous number of years since initially leaving Impact. It's unknown what this means for the future of Global Force.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It would depend on what else was on the show in the women's place. I'm sure WWE could put on significant stories without the women, but it would be a big waste to not feature some of their most polished and promising acts.

2. That's not technically a question, but it's certainly at least partially true. They're getting far more for TV than they are for live event revenue. However, NBCU and Fox are paying for the TV shows to get a certain number of viewers, so watching something else could spark changes.

3. One way to send something of a message is to vocally and financially support certain talents who are doing things you like, to make it clear you're paying to see them, not necessarily others.

4. I maintain there's a deep enough men's roster for each show to have one tag team division, while that's not true for the number of women employed. It's nothing to do with "women getting special treatment."

5. It's easier (and cheaper) said than done!

More wrestling tomorrow.
