Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and Stephanie McMahon were at ESPN's Sports Humanitarian Awards.

Chris Jericho discussed CMLL President Paco Alonso on his latest podcast, a man who had a LOT of influence on Jericho's early career.

The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll, and Flip Gordon are doing signings at the Pro Wrestling Tees store the day before All Out. I expect Marty and Flip to be on AEW's radar when their contracts come due.

Bandido has been announced for Battle of Los Angeles.

Cody is doing book signings before Fight For The Fallen and All Out, as well as July 19 in Georgia. Really cool to see The Elite doing inspirational children's books. They've all really excelled.

Conrad Thompson is on Sports Illustrated's latest podcast.

The Young Bucks spoke to Chris Van Vliet, with highlights here:
- I don't think Punk wants to come back to wrestling "just to come back." If he comes back, it will be for something he can really commit to. Unless, of course, he feels like he needs the money.

- I believe AEW genuinely wanted to protect Cody with that "gimmicked" chair shot, but clearly it didn't work and Khan is right to be gun-shy about that and similar ideas going forward.

- Obviously there's an inherent level of danger with wrestling, but CTE is a very scary thing in a different way from other injuries.

- I think everyone worries about The Elite wearing themselves out with all their roles in AEW. No one questions their commitment to the company and wrestling as a whole, though.

- Talented people making money is definitely a plus for AEW!

- I'm curious how BTE changes with the TNT deal and how TNT TV will differ from that.

- I'd definitely like to see more of PAC.

- I wouldn't say other companies "hate" AEW but it would definitely be easier for other companies to exist without that competition!

Bret Hart's attacker's hearing has been postponed until September 9. I'm not sure why things keep getting pushed back.

Impact is working on a potential new logo for their expected upcoming new TV deal. It sounds like that's close to happening, which has got to be a relief.

Impact and Championship Wrestling From Hollywood are doing a joint Twitch show on August 3. Interestingly that group is aligned with the NWA.

World Class/Mid-South wrestler John Tatum recently had a heart attack. I hope he recovers soon.

Raw drew 2.35 million viewers Monday, a drop in the interest from last week. Hopefully there will be a boost after Extreme Rules.

WWE has announced a new "unscripted series" (reality show) featuring Stephanie McMahon teaming female superstars with women dealing with various issues. The series will film at the WWE Performance Center.

WWE Network's latest Hidden Gems are TV dark matches with Sabu and Taz separately facing Scotty 2 Hotty in 1993.

WWE Watch Along for Extreme Rules will feature Pat McAfee, Cathy Kelley, The IIconics, Beth Phoenix, Jeff Jarrett, Adam Cole, the Street Profits, Matt Hardy, and Dana Brooke.

EVOLVE's 10th anniversary show has added Shotzi Blackheart vs. Brandi Lauren.

R-Truth discussed the 24/7 Championship and more. It's amazing he's still a part of WWE TV so many years after his debut. I'm glad he can still contribute. I also love that WWE is letting talents do their own thing in the division. More talents there should get that kind of leeway.

Joey Janela and the former Enzo Amore got into a confrontation at a Blink 182 concert, which led to a series of tweets with non-PG language recapped here. Janela had previously criticized Enzo's antics at wrestling events since his WWE release. It's unclear if Joey wanted a confrontation given how he acted when Enzo wanted to throw down. We'll see if the two of them end up in anything else physical.

AJPW President Jun Akiyama is retiring to focus on his in-ring career. That's interesting with Jun closing in on 50.

ROH's Top Prospect Tournament will feature Dante Caballero. They're doing a good job of pushing this year's event.

Jim Ross is on Stone Cold's latest podcast.

Roman Reigns won the first WWE ESPY for his return from battling leukemia. It was certainly a big moment.

WWE is looking for a director of development for unscripted programs, so that's something they're looking to do more of.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Essentially the story was that those two were so extreme it was only fitting for them to have a big crazy gimmick match. I see where Dave's coming from here, and I expect the TNT show will do a more thorough job of building things than the quick social media videos have by the nature of its length.

2. Of course, quality is subjective, but if NJPW can't reach as many U.S. fans as AEW can, they can't change things as much as AEW can. AEW's going to have a significantly bigger presence on U.S. screens and in U.S. venues soon, and they've got a lot more funding. That's going to be the difference-maker of what has a chance to change things.

3.a. I didn't watch the show because if I'm going to watch a wrestling product, I'm not going to just watch a few shows of it here and there. It's entirely possible I would prefer NJPW to WWE, but I've only got so much time to watch wrestling, and I want to cover the promotions that are running the U.S. regularly with prominent TV shows, etc.

3.b. Okada was sent as a young talent to get some experience in a different market. Vince Russo's focus favors characters, promos, and pop culture over athletic ability and technical skill, so he booked Okada as he's booked other smaller, international wrestlers.

4. I'm under the impression Bischoff and Heyman will essentially be the second-highest people on their respective shows, with Vince McMahon still above them. Everything will still go through him as long as he's around. So, while they're in the most prominent positions they can be in and can suggest a lot of things to change things, ultimately it's a matter of whether Vince lets it go through.

5. That's a fair assessment, I think. WWE has a LOT more time to fill than they did before Raw and Smackdown Live existed. As such, feuds get staler quickly and people are ready to move onto something new sooner, especially the younger audience who's used to the pace of five hours of WWE TV a week.

More wrestling tomorrow.
