Bound For Glory 2019 will be held in Illinois on October 20. ROH and NJPW drew 900 fans to the venue in May for a TV taping, so it will be interesting to see how this show compares.

Impact and RCW's event for tonight has officially sold out. I'm not sure how many people the venue holds, but that still counts for something.

WWE Network's latest Hidden Gems are NWA Great American Bash events from July 5, 1986 and July 26, 1986.

Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff being hired as executive directors was largely a move to combat an expected negative reaction from Wall Street for the next earnings report, as key business indicators like attendance, merchandise sales, and Network subscriptions, will likely be down from last year. So if you're wondering what it takes for Vince McMahon to make changes, the answer is stockholders turning on the company.

- AEW's rise is also a top factor, given its surprising level of appeal to an audience WWE has struggled to keep lately. Notably, Vince's soon-to-be-increasing workload with XFL is also part of the move.

Eric Bischoff was not at Smackdown Live, as he was expected to be after an ad was erroneously send out promoting him being at the show.

The AJ Styles/Karl Anderson/Luke Gallows reunion was decided upon before Paul Heyman took on a greater role in Creative as part of the latter two signing new deals.

The Street Profits are set to work Raw TV going forward, but will remain NXT talents for now. Them being moved up was a Paul Heyman move. I'm curious how they'll be implemented and what their long-term future is.

WWE is deliberately using more special effects like pyrotechnics, partially as a Paul Heyman direction to make the show "cooler," but also to differentiate their high-budget TV product from AEW.

Fyter Fest drew 5,000 fans, about 4,200 of which were paid. The B/R Live stream averaged 140,000 viewers.

Fight For The Fallen has added Joey Janela, Darby Allin, and Jimmy Havoc vs. MJF, Shawn Spears, and Sammy Guevara. Why are MJF and Spears on the same team after the angle with Cody? No one knows. The match was just announced with a graphic.

Best in the World drew 1,200 fans.

WWE is attempting to get more programming on other UK stations as something of a compensation for losing their exposure on Sky.

AAA wanted Brian Cage to team with the Lucha Bros against Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks at TripleMania, but AEW decided they didn't want to work with a talent who isn't signed to one of their partner promotions. So, it doesn't look like we'll see any matches with Impact talents against AEW talents anytime soon.

- Cage is also being replaced in a July 18 TV taping match. Daga will take his place teaming with Taurus against Cody and MJF.

Cain Velasquez is being trained by Killer Kross ahead of his AAA debut. That's pretty cool.

AAA is looking to use AEW talent in Madison Square Garden, but AEW isn't expected to allow their talents to work someone else's U.S. event (PWG being the exception). I really wonder how AAA will do running such a large venue alone.

Taka Michinoku has begun a new promotion called "Just Tap Out" or JTO. It will run its first show July 8. I'm interested to see how things go for that company.

Davey Boy Smith, Jr. has gotten offers from Pro Wrestling NOAH and All Japan since leaving NJPW. His sister is about to work MLW has a backstage interviewer.

MLW is getting South American talent Zenshi, also known as Shynron.

MLW's referees have all undergone CPR training. That's fantastic!

MLW's September 7 War Chamber event will be a live TV special.

ROH is considering using Joe Hendry again. He worked ROH, Impact, and WOS last year.

ROH's June 29 TV taping drew 600 fans.

Alberto El Patron intends his November MMA bout to be his last one.

Dolph Ziggler has indicated he is back in WWE full-time. We'll see how he ends up being used going forward.

Raw's August 5 TV taping has two-for-one ticket sales. I hope they're looking at more changes on top of the Heyman/Bischoff positions, because attendance is struggling.

NXT's Nick Comoroto has changed his name to Nick Ogrelli.

WWE is now doing VIP packages for TV tapings, offering special merchandise for the first five rows. That's a start at increasing revenue, although of course it doesn't do anything about filling more seats in the first place.

Road Dogg is now heading up a character development class at the WWE Performance Center. That's a good role for him.

Norman Smiley recently had surgery and is out of the WWE Performance Center as he recovers.

The July 1 Raw drew 10,500 fans, which is quite impressive. The July 2 Smackdown Live drew 6,500 fans, which is also a big step up from Stomping Grounds week.

Extreme Rules is offering a two-for-one ticket deal. I'm curious if WWE will start running smaller venues if this keeps up.

Impact released the opening to tonight's episode, the final TV show before Slammiversary.

Maria Kanellis took shots at unspecified reporters for unspecified accusations: Tweet 1 Tweet 2 Tweet 3 I'm not really sure what that's about.

The Miz was honored in his hometown.

Booker T. has pulled out of All Out weekend after initially agreeing to be part of it, citing the WWE/AEW "war" as his reason. Battle lines are definitely being drawn.

Mattel's San Diego Comic Con booth will feature Rey Mysterio, Becky Lynch, Zack Ryder, and Curt Hawkins.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. The comedy skits were awful, but I think they would counter they're playing to the audience that made BTE a hit. Hopefully when they hit TNT, they shove that stuff to the side.

2. I'm under the impression they will present their product more seriously than WWE as far as match importance, but things like blood and hardcore stunts will be saved for PPV.

Nothing to add to 3.

4. AEW is OK with him wrestling in Japan, but not in the U.S. where they're trying to build their own shows with him.

5. Decent, but I would be surprised to see him as a regular character. WWE's aware they're struggling to connect with a younger audience.

More wrestling tomorrow.
