Post-Fyter Fest interviews, Cody injury update, Rey update, UK star retires, Bucks' HOG match, and Questions on WWE trying to block AEW from venures, AEW having clear faces and heels, sports playing WWE songs, Seth vs. Ospreay fallout, and dialing down high-impact moves

Tony Khan, Allie and Jungle Boy, MJF, Jimmy Havoc, the Young Bucks, and Nyla Rose all spoke after Fyter Fest. I like the post-show press.

Cody received twelve stitches after Fyter Fest. Apparently a gimmicked chair was used, but didn't work as planned. Hopefully they rethink that approach.

Rey Mysterio discussed his injury and more.

UK star Charlie Morgan has retired due to injuries. That's unfortunate. She was only 27. Hopefully she has something fulfilling to do.

The Young Bucks will face Private Party at House of Glory's August 9 show. So what could be their last indie appearance is essentially an AEW match.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I expect WWE will try to block AEW from some venues, but those venues might very well weigh whether they want to block AEW given AEW's backing and WWE's attendance struggles. If MSG is willing to host other wrestling companies, other promotions might consider the same.

2. It will depend. They can definitely do compelling stories beyond the two extremes of face and heel.

3. Venues will play songs over their sound system, as opposed to over the broadcast itself, to get around the copyright rule. That's my understanding of the situation, anyway.

4. I definitely think Ospreay gained more out of that interaction than Rollins did, and the last thing WWE needs right now is incentive for fans to check out a different wrestling product! I like the idea of not mentioning non-WWE promotions/stars.

5. As their careers go on, they'll certainly need to think over their move sets and how frequently they do certain high-impact maneuvers. Of course, it's much easier said than done when the name of the game is standing out from the pack and impressing fans. I think we could see a shift away from the "can you top this" style in the years to come as it becomes increasingly difficult to have a calling card of the most surprising maneuvers.

More wrestling tomorrow.
