All Out Reax

Read on for my thoughts on last night's AEW pay-per-view.

-- Buy In:

- MJF promo:

There's putting your opponent over and then there's making claims no one believes, like Moxley being the greatest. Come on, now.

That was significantly better than the usual MJF promo. I know that's not saying much, but he finally felt like a serious contender instead of a guy having fun playing a heel.

- Mox promo:

I like this guy. I wish AEW had a better opponent for him on such a major show.

- Janela vs. Serpentico:

Fine start.

This is pretty good.

Fine enough.

- Private Party vs. Reynolds/Silver:

Good teamwork here.

I'm enjoying these Dark Order teams.

Good overall.

-- All Out:

- Swole vs. Baker:

Haha wow this is something.

Hahaha I liked the line about having her nose fixed.

Wow that.. wow the painkiller spot.

Honestly pretty fun.

- Bucks vs. Saurus/J. Boy:

Cool start. I like this to get fans back into things after what I imagine was a polarizing cinematic match.

Everyone's doing the role well here.

This is pretty fun.

This is VERY fun.

Really good ending. They elevated Jungle Boy with that ending.

- Casino Battle Royal:

Definitely a pretty interesting first group! I like the variety and number of tag team guys involved.

Wow it worked out well for Santana and Ortiz to be in the same group!

Good action so far.

Cage vs. Billy was pretty fun.

Cool stuff from Darby.

Ha. I don't blame Spears for going with the announcers. He's probably grateful for some screen time.

This is fun all the way around.

WHOAAAAAAAA Sonny vs. Hager is coming.

I love Lance Archer.

NIIIICE. Cool to see him here. Obviously this means him appearing for ROH isn't due to him signing a contract.

WHOA that crazy botch.

Cage vs. Archer is a lot of fun.

This is fun from everyone.

Wow. Wow. That bodybag spot.

I like the big variety of talents here.

This doesn't feel like a throwaway "get everyone on the show" match.

This is good.

Not crazy about Kingston being afraid of snakes. He's a badass dude.

Glad to see Archer win.

- Matt vs. Guevara:

They're taking a risk doing two wacky brawls on one show.

GOOD GOD Sammy is bad luck for Matt, huh?

Honestly they might should call this.

Either this is a really convincing angle or Matt needs some serious help.

That was more scary than entertaining. It's clear something went pretty wrong.

- Shida vs. Rosa:

Good work early.

Nice physicality here.

This is good! I wouldn't mind seeing more of Rosa.

I like this a good deal.

WOW. This is good!

Both women are putting on a show here.

Very good match!

- Kip/Ford:

We'll see what this leads to. I did pop for the Twitch being approved.

- Brodie/Colt/Uno/Stu vs. Nightmares/Sky/Cardona:

Very glad this is a fight given the heat involved.

I like Dustin trying to save QT.

This is nice so far.

Very cool to see Dustin still perform at this level.

This is cool.

Good ending!

- Post-match:

Oh man. Poor Colt.

- Dustin interview:

I like that!!

- Omega/Page vs. FTR:

I like the battle here.

This is good.

This is a heck of a tag match.

Very, very glad these talents have a prominent home running regularly. I hope whatever AOP are calling themselves post-WWE join them.

This is really, really good. They're telling a great story.

Everyone looks good in this one.

I like how these styles mesh.

This is one to check out. It doesn't feel like a spotfest.

NIIIIIIICE!!!!!! Glad to see this win.

- Post-match:

That was good. I like the story among the Elite members.

- Jericho promo:

This man really needs some time off. If he was in WWE, fans would say he's stale and needs to move aside for new talents.

Great promo to end a run on. I'm just saying.

- Jericho vs. OC:

I LOVED that start. Jericho should be motivated given how this feud has gone.

This is pretty unique.

This stipulation really lets Jericho not have to put on a clinic in a traditional sense. Smart.

This is BADASS. Cassidy's taking some punishment.

This has been done pretty well.

Good use of the stipulation.

I'm impressed with this.

Good ending. Please give Jericho a break after this loss.

- Mox vs. MJF:

I'm nervous watching this one. AEW could be taking a big risk here.

Yeah, Mox is working circles around the kid.

I like how physical Moxley is here.

I'm enjoying the story here.

I like how this is put together.

Moxley looks like a warrior here.

I really liked the teased Paradigm Shift.

MJF is finally looking like a contender in the ring.

I like the heel tactics coming into play.

PHEW. That was the right call. I hope now he has to earn a PPV main event spot.

More wrestling coming up.
