Impact Wrestling Reax - 9/1/20

 Read on for my thoughts on last night's Impact Wrestling.

- RVD vs. Callihan:

Forbes being an active ringside presence as usual.

I'm liking this.

This is mostly impressive.

OK at some point the referee needs to intervene with Katie.

Impressive! Hopefully they eventually have a big hardcore match.

- Post-match:

Haha maybe a handicap hardcore match?

That was an interesting beatdown.

- Hernandez/Bahh/Scum:

They've built Hernandez's story well.

- WrestleHouse:

I liked the Doink reference.

I really, really hope they wrap this whole thing up soon.

- Scum vs. Rhino:

Well so much for having a partner.

Good ending! Clever use of Heath, but why did he wait so long to get involved?

- Post-match:

Heath is Impact's answer to RETRIBUTION.

- EC3 promo:

He's really been good in this new role.

- Moose promo:

Also good!

- Brothers/Rascalz:

That was a nice moment of veteran talents and newcomers working together.

- WrestleHouse:

F I L L E R

This is really dumb.

Wow what a waste of time!

- Ace/Fulton vs. Dez/Wentz:

Good story with the big man.

Solid tag action.

Wow! Didn't expect that ending after Ace's big push.

- Post-match:

I like this idea!

Maybe a three way match is coming?

- Black Tie preparations:

Good to keep the build for the other segment.

- Raju/TJP:

I love his machinations!

- Even more WrestleHouse:

Well looks like Bravo made his decision. Can this end now?

YYYYEEEEESSSSSSSS IT'S OVER.

Honestly I could see this just turning into a different clustermess "wacky" weekly segment.

- Black Tie Celebration:

Good promo from Jordynne.

WOW!!!! Didn't expect to see her again any time soon.

Oh God. This was going well until the wacky bunch got involved. I don't know who keeps putting together years of awful Brokenesque segments, but it's really made Impact look niche.

Ehhhhhhhhhh. Honestly it kind of lowered Deonna to go from such an amazing match to being tied into the sideshow.

- Eddie vs. EY:

I love the intensity here.

Eric is motivated to get momentum back after his WWE run.

Great story here.

This is great! Eddie has been very, very valuable for Impact.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I liked that ending!!! Big win for Eric!

- Post-match:

Sadistic EY has been great.

- Moose/EC3:

Wow that was weird as hell.

I like it! Neither character is a traditional face, and that makes this interesting.
