Read on for my thoughts on last night's Impact Wrestling special event.

Bret Hart is a parody of himself at this point. 

- Deonna interview:

Intriguing!

- Another Shamrock video:

Cool to see Foley in Impact again.

- Dez/Wentz vs. Deaners:

Honestly Cody and Jake feel like goofballs who happen to be wrestlers. The Rascalz are goofy, but at least they're impressive.

Nice ending.

- Brothers promo:

OK that was a funny WWE reference. 

- Shamrock induction:

Cool to see Striker here.

And VERY cool to see The Rock. Glad he didn't "big league" Impact.

Pretty wild to see so many WWE references.

I liked that a lot.

- X-Division Scramble:

Rohit has been pretty fun.

Nice to see everyone get to do what they do best.

I really hope Grace doesn't go back to doing the same old thing in the Knockouts division after this.

Good combination of workers here.

Great way to kick the show off.

Of course we get the Tower of Doom.

This is very fun.

Ahhhhhhh Raju keeps it going!

- Bachelor party segment:

- Heath/Rhino:

This will be interesting.

- Gauntlet match:

Cool to see Daivari back.

Rhino losing that early would have been very anticlimactic!

Lots of silliness early.

Well at least Havok's doing good stuff here.

Wow Myers and Swoggle as a duo. Weird times.

MYERS YOU MONSTER HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO SWOGGLE????

Fun spot with Dreamer. Much respect for the Animal tribute.

Wow this is really the best we'll get of Tenille?

I like the combination of people from all over Impact (and a few names outside of Impact). I continue to want to see fewer divisions so we get more fresh matches.

Crazy work with the Knockouts.

HOLY SHIT! Nice surprise to see Storm back.

Wow Heath is getting a pretty good spot for someone who doesn't have a contract!

Enjoyable work so far!

This stuff with the money has been hilarious.

DAMN what a heel move from Sami.

Not crazy about the ending, but it moves us to Sami vs. Rhino and Heath.

- North interview:

I like the idea of them proving themselves to these newcomers.

Very good work.

- Moose vs. EC3:

This is unique, for sure.

I like this standing out from everything else without being something like WrestleHouse.

This is a pretty big battle. I like it.

Good story here with EC3 being on a mission.

This is a promo and a fight all at once!

I like this! This is a battle with some real meaning.

Very, very cool.

- Shamrock vs. Eddie:

I'm liking this a lot early.

This is a BATTLE. No flips here.

I'm enjoying the physicality.

WOWWWWWWW really didn't expect Ken to win, but clearly he's going to keep wrestling.

- Guns vs. Brothers vs. North vs. Ace/Fulton:

Wow. Damn. Either Shelley's pulling a Rich Swann comeback or we're in for new champs.

Sabin's getting bodied.

Oh my God watch Sabin win singlehandedly. He is a former TNA Champion!

This is pretty cool. 

I'm liking the story to all of this.

WOW. Really didn't expect them to win the title back so soon. I wonder how long Sabin and Shelley are sticking around.

- More bachelor's stuff:

I wish they'd drop that.

- Deonna vs. Su:

Ooooooohhhhhhh yeah not feeling this substitution.

This isn't what Deonna vs. Grace was. 

A shame this title reign dropped off so much.

OK I did like the armbar/Mandible Claw spot.

PHEWWWWW. Poor Deonna. Not crazy about this one.

- Knockouts Tag Title returning:

Not really feeling that. It doesn't look like they've got enough talent to have both divisions go strong.

- EY vs. Swann:

This man has had a superhuman recovery.

This is pretty solid.

Wow Swann almost injured himself all over again!

I like Young's viciousness.

This is a lot of fun! They contrast well.

I'm loving Rich's tenacity here.

Very good match!

- Post-match:

Great way to end the show.
