Interviews with Candice/Alexa/Singhs/Moxley, assorted wrestling press and content updates, Cena in-ring update, Dynamite anniversary press, HHH conference call, NXT injury, new Impact and AEW matches, Hardy court update, Cardona-AEW update, and Questions on New Jack, a gold medal or the UFC Title, and AEW's web design

Candice LeRae spoke before NXT. I'm curious what things look for her long-term, since she's been in NXT for a good deal of time now.

"Young Rock" has been officially cast, and will film in Australia(!) soon. The show is scheduled for January on NBC.

John Cena confirmed he has not retired as a wrestler during an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon." I wonder when his next match will be, and whom he'll face.

"The Bump" will feature Ken Jeong, RJ City, and Wade Barrett next week, conducting a mock draft.

JBL is on the most recent "After The Bell"

WWE Network's free tier has added The Undertaker and Goldberg's Broken Skull Sessions episodes.

Dynamite's anniversary was covered in Variety. Warnermedia executives were quoted.

Triple H held a conference call to promote Takeover 31, recapped here:

- I can only imagine what things were like behind-the-scenes when they found out COVID spread.

- Realistically there's not much predicting fans returning.

- HAHAHA wow even he doesn't know how the draft will work. That says a lot about WWE's planning.

- Honestly it might be time to cut back on the international journalists. Or at least vet them better, because pretty much every time one is on a call they ask something really basic regarding their country specifically.

- What businessman wouldn't want their show on a night where it will do a better audience?

- Meltzer with the gotcha question as usual.

- Tegan is cursed. She's always going to be known for her injuries.

Victory Road has added:

- Moose vs. Trey Miguel

- Alex Shelley vs. Josh Alexander vs. Karl Anderson vs. Ace Austin

Alexa Bliss spoke to Metro about her podcast.

Bound For Glory has added Motor City Machine Guns vs. Good Brothers vs. The North vs. Ace Austin and Madman Fulton for the Impact Tag Team Championship.

WWE Studios' "The Call" was re-released in theaters recently.

Jeff Hardy's scheduled court date has been pushed back to October 22 due to coronavirus-related court closures.

Edge spoke on the Busted Open radio show, confirming there is no current timetable for him to return to the ring.

ESPN and People Magazine covered WWE's pediatric cancer charity work.

WWE's Singh Brothers discussed being unable to work for WWE during the pandemic.

Jon Moxley spoke to Bleacher Report:

- Interesting talk of AEW's creative process.

- I would normally praise the old school mentality of playing to the fans in the furthest parts of the arena, but wrestling is becoming more and more a television business and training needs to follow that change.

- I like him being open to what his less experienced opponents want to do, though of course he should have a decent grasp of how to implement those that newcomers might not have.

- WOW. Rare to see someone in the business admit titles and wins are those imaginary brass rings Punk talked about.

- Ambrose as a booker would really be interesting.

New York Comic Con's virtual panel will feature Triple H, Drew McIntyre, and Zelina Vega.

Matt Cardona confirmed his AEW deal has expired on the Pro Wrestling Junkies podcast, but is interested in working there further. I see why he doesn't want to be lost in the shuffle in a second wrestling company.

Full Gear will feature the finals of an eight-man tournament to declare a number one contender to the AEW Championship. Kenny Omega, Rey Fenix, and Jungle Boy have all been announced for the tournament. I'm curious what that means for the title match that night.

Dynamite has announced:

- Cody vs. Brodie Lee in a dog collar match for the TNT Championship

- Chris Jericho and Jake Hager vs. Chaos Project (Luther and Serpentico)

- Brian Cage vs. Will Hobbs for the FTW Championship

For my take on Wednesday's PWInsider.com questions:

1 is a repeat.

Nothing to add to 2.

3. It could be a case of only having one hour.

4. The two sports have very different rules. I would rank a gold medal higher given the years of training involved and competing with talent from every country.

5. Haha! Yeah, it's not great. I could see them arguing it's intentionally minimalistic. I would think they could get help making it another way if they wanted to.

More wrestling coming up.
