Smackdown drew 2.04 million viewers this week, very similar to last week.

OVW's first national champion is Jesse Godderz, who won a Rumble match for the honor.

- William Shatner honored him for doing so.

Takeover 31 is the first Takeover event to be on traditional PPV.

Angel Garza has a small quadriceps tear. He expects to miss less than a month. Glad he won't be out long.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:

1. It's certainly being considered as a possibility.

2. I seem to remember rumblings of Smackdown being turned into a WCW show but wisely WWE focused on building their own brands.

3. Finn seems to have more or less moved on from that character and returned to being the Prince. I don't believe there are any considerations for it returning any time soon.

Nothing to add to 4, 6, or 7.

5. Stardust is a WWE-owned character. As for something like Stardust, I doubt it. What he's doing currently is nothing like that character.

More wrestling tomorrow.
