Query on Sheamus, Interviews with Jarrett/Reigns, Edge on passing the torch, who to watch in 2015, and Questions on GFW, Sycho Sid, changing TNA announcing, NXT, and fans ruining wrestling

First up, a query:
1. Still no update on Sheamus. I imagine he's being saved for a return at the Royal Rumble, but it's possible he's still recovering by then.

Jeff Jarrett talked about the Bullet Club, Slap Nuts, and more. Here are some highlights:
- The nWo, Nash and Hogan in particular, were never known for their great matches from a technical standpoint.

- I was a big fan of Striker's work in WWE. He definitely knows his stuff. I particularly liked him giving nicknames to talents and their moves to add flavor to things.

- I only saw the Young Bucks in TNA, and a match or two in ROH. Phenomenal athletes, but it felt like their matches were just highlight reels of cool moves instead of one team actually trying to beat the other team.

- It is pretty great people still bring up the phrase "Slap Nuts".

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Here are highlights from a recent Roman Reigns interview. I think we're going to be seeing a lot of him in 2015. I think he's worth giving a shot to, but I'd rather see Bryan or Ziggler win the Rumble.

Edge gave a shoutout to Seth Rollins after the big angle last week on Raw. I really hope Rollins has a big 2015. He should definitely get matches in the title picture.

WWE.com gave a list of superstars to watch in 2015. It's nice to see some NXT names in the mix, and an official WWE outlet praising some of the great workers who seem to be underappreciated by the higher-ups. This could have easily been John Cena, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, and the other obvious picks.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It does sound like something really cool and new in the sense of making old ideas work in today's world, but right now it's still in the early stages. It's like a game in development that's promising all these great things and releasing some good screenshots, but hasn't been released yet.

2. I think Sycho Sid's a better name than Sid Justice, at least for the era wrestling was moving into. It's a shame Sid's career turned out the way it did. Really big, powerful dude.

3. Yeah, I think a lot of it had to do with the geography and economics of things, as well as giving a new face to the product in 2015. It'd be nice if they replaced Taz as well, but that's probably not going to happen. Oh, well.

4. I don't expect TNA to help out GFW, although that could pay dividends for both sides. I'm a little surprised Jarrett even asked.

5. NXT is more of the minor league and they'll get more attention and care down there than they will in the shark tank that is the main roster. Compare the size of NXT's roster with that of that of the main roster. It's not as easy to protect everyone there. And always keep in mind, most people watching the main shows don't watch NXT, so there really isn't all that much hype for them. I like NXT. A lot. And I want those talents to succeed. But it's really complicated to get it all working out.

6. I do think the fans who go to shows to get themselves over with irrelevant chants are a detriment to wrestling. It's a real shame, because they're hurting the performers they do like.

More wrestling tomorrow.
