Query on WWE locker room etiquette, assorted WWE notes, Punk update, more on NXT in the Rumble, AJ return pushed back, Interviews with Zayn/JR, more Tough Enough coming, more on Sting in WWE, Black Bart update, Raw audience, WWE hiring, and Questions on NXT on Kickoff shows, the Monday Night War, ROH on UK TV, Elizabeth in the Hall, and The Ascension

First up, a query:
1. I don't know exactly what locker room etiquette is like in WWE in 2015, but it used to be pretty ritualized. You shook everyone's hand as they came in, stood up when the World Champion entered, and that kind of thing. Now it's a communal work and people are more laid-back about all that.

Shawn Michaels will be part of the Royal Rumble pre-show Sunday. That's cool by me.

WWE Network is now available online in Canada for subscribers of Rogers and Eastlink. I hope it keeps expanding.

Kevin Nash will return to Maryland Championship Wrestling on Feb. 7 after having to pull out of a December show.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
There has been a lot of press for both Triple H breaking character at Raw and the concussion lawsuit. One of those is better for WWE's image than the other...

WWE is believed to have sold their remaining C.M. Punk merchandise, as his page has been removed from their shop website. I'm sure that's fuel for a conspiracy theory of him returning at the Rumble. Not happening.

WWE put out a survey asking fans which NXT talent(s) they'd like to see in the Royal Rumble. That's probably a good barometer of what will happen Sunday.

AJ Lee has been pulled from advertising for an upcoming live event. She indicated on Twitter she's still recovering from her neck issues.

Local press covered a WWE anti-bullying rally. Did Sin Cara appear in his mask? Did he speak English? I also wonder how Young feels about being used in so much PR stuff but rarely wrestling.

Sami Zayn talked about returning to the UAE with WWE. When the heck will this guy be on the main roster?

Jim Ross talked about Chris Benoit going into the Hall of Fame and more. It's a shame that fan became so belligerent. As incredibly talented as Benoit was, there's no way WWE's going to put him in the Hall of Fame anytime in the near future. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if it never happens.

WWE began casting for the next season of Tough Enough. There's no word on exactly what form that will take. I do miss Stone Cold's elimination segments, so I hope that or something like that comes back.

While WWE's clearly setting up Sting vs. Triple H, it's still possible Sting wrestles The Undertaker down the line. There's nothing to say it has to be at WrestleMania. Summerslam could work as well. I'm excited to see it. They just have to be very careful to protect the older guys and do the most to make the clash meaningful.

Black Bart will soon be undergoing quadruple bypass surgery. That's quite the procedure. I wish him and his family the best.

Raw grew to 4.1 million viewers this week. That's good. I hope things keep trending in a positive manner for Mania season.

WWE is seeking writers. I guess Vince needs someone new to yell at before scrapping their ideas.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. The PPV pre-show should be to sell and warm up people for the PPV, so no. I'd rather see names underutilized on the main roster get that spot and payday. I'm a big fan of NXT, but I'm not sold on that idea.

2. It did feel very self-serving. I would have liked for them to break things into time periods instead of themes, as well.

3. They can't just GET a TV deal. Someone in the UK would have to see enough value in the product to give it a TV deal. I don't know if ROH is that big of a deal there.

4. They damn sure should! I'd announce her next, actually.

5. I think a big part of this is how they went from a gimmick they had been working on for quite some time to something completely different. It's like studying Spanish all year and the final exam is in Portuguese. How would that be the fault of the person studying Spanish?

More wrestling tomorrow.
