WWE tryout, Interviews with Heyman/Orndorff/HHH/Phillips/Bryan/Big E/Stephanie, more on recent lawsuits, Angle on recent movie, NXT live event note, Diva injured, Smackdown audience, and Questions on buried alive matches, cage matches, Austin vs. Booker, Cena at WM31, and Austin at WM32

Lucha name Laredo Kid had a tryout before this past Monday's Raw. WWE could use some more Latino names with Del Rio gone and Rey out the door soon.

Paul Heyman talked about the future of wrestling, other Paul Heyman guys, and more:
- Heyman having a lot of experience in a lot of circumstances really helps him in the promo-cutting department. He has a lot of respect for the business and the people in it, and it shows.

- I think Heyman's right about some combinations of wrestlers and managers just aren't going to work out.

- Interesting thoughts about the future of sports entertainment.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
NPR looked at the recent concussion lawsuits. LaDuca's either deliberately skewing things or doesn't follow the current product. Shots to the head are banned. Ask Triple H and The Undertaker.

Kurt Angle talked about the movie Foxcatcher. He had a big connection to the subjects of that story.

A long interview with "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff was just released. His name's often kind of left out of the talk of the first Wrestlemania in favor of the other competitors in the main event.

The NXT live event at the Arnold Classic sold out very shortly after tickets were put on sale. That's exciting! I hope the brand continues to be successful and isn't overexposed.

Here's footage of Triple H talking about consoling a young fan at Raw. WWE doesn't want to upset their young fanbase to the point of them not wanting to come to shows anymore.

Layla underwent surgery of some kind earlier this week, and has been pulled from working WWE shows. It's a shame her career has stalled in recent years. She was pretty impressive when she came back from the Laycool split, and some good foundations were set before that.

Tom Phillips talked about what he's done in WWE so far. I wonder how much WWE would save by sacking someone like Lawler or JBL and replacing them with someone like Phillips. Just saying.

Daniel Bryan talked about Sting, Lesnar, and more. I wonder who the oldest wrestler to debut for WWE has been (not including someone like John Cena, Sr., who was just used as a special attraction).

Big E talked about The New Day and more. He makes for a pretty good babyface. Interesting talk about having to be that character 24/7.

Stephanie McMahon talked about the future of the WWE Network. I think region-specific content is a great idea, but that might be some time from happening.

Stone Cold talked about working Rumble matches. It's tough enough to put together something like a six-man tag. I'm sure the Rumble is quite the chore for everyone involved.

Smackdown's audience Thursday night (I'm still getting used to saying that) was 2.80 million, the highest mark in two months. The move from Fridays has been a good one so far.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Yeah, there's some kind of secret compartment for them to move into before having dirt thrown on top of them.

2. Different bookers do things differently. That's pretty much the answer. The rules are there to get to whatever end the booker has in mind.

3. I enjoyed that segment, as goofy as it was.

4. Rusev, definitely. He's the most logical choice.

5. I definitely think he'll appear in some form, but I wouldn't assume he'll have a match. Cena vs. Austin would be pretty cool, and I think Cena's good enough to make that one work, but it's by no means a guarantee Austin will get back in the ring.

More wrestling tomorrow.
