JR on Montreal and Rollins, new important people at WWEPC, Network note, and Questions on building new stars, turning Reigns or Ambrose, Bray losing, and both world title tournaments

Jim Ross looked back at the Montreal Screwjob on the 18th anniversary of the event:
- Great for JR to have stopped smoking.

- Vince keeping JR's name clean was smart.

- I agree heavily about the smartphone comment.

- Good insights overall.

Ryan Katz is heading up promo classes in NXT now. He's got big shoes to fill.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

The former Sarita is officially a trainer at the WWEPC now. Good for her!

WWE Network will have "Undertaker Week" going into Survivor Series. It's going to be the end of an era when he hangs up the boots.

Jim Ross also talked about what WWE can do after Rollins' injury:
-  I'd be hesitant to turn Reigns heel after he finally seems to be earning his keep with some of his critics.

- I would watch the hell out of Lesnar bringing Suplex City to the Rumble. That needs to happen.

- I agree they should book from the Mania title match backward.

- It was hardly must-see TV if ratings are any indication. Ouch.

- I do think they worry too much about protecting some talents.

- Making the babyface overcome insane odds is Booking 101 for a reason.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. All that is MUCH easier said than done. Guys like Kane, Taker, and Cena have years of momentum behind them as true top names. WWE definitely needs to push people they weren't pushing in 2005 or before, but it can't happen overnight.

2. I think it would be logical to go that route. Reigns has been blocked from the WWE Title for month after month since WM31. For Ambrose to be the new champion instead would probably feel like a stab in the back to Reigns after all the brotherhood talk. All that said, I wouldn't do it. They need to be building top babyfaces instead of cutting off the momentum they have with the fans by turning them heel.

3. He does come up short at the end usually, BUT he and his brethren did just take out Kane and Taker. There's a chance they'll regain momentum if they don't get their asses kicked at Survivor Series.

4. They addressed this on Raw in a clever way, I think.

5. I could see them doing some kind of Carlos Colon finish where he "wins" the title in India to appease that audience before giving it up due to a technicality. They could also do what was suggested here. TNA definitely wants the UK and India to be important markets going forward, so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw champions that appeal to them.

More wrestling tomorrow.
