Lucha name to WWE?, big NXT taping set for 2016, TNA name and two ECW names under the knife, more on Bockwinkel, former WWE name to LU, ROH changing channels soon, matches added to Survivor Series, and Questions on Balor+Bayley being called up, WWE travel, Ronda-WM32, turning Reigns/Ambrose, and running two live event loops

There are rumors in the Mexican press about La Sombra going to WWE. He has more than 1,100 matches under his belt and is only 26. They should definitely give him a look if he's interested.

NXT will be taping TV the weekend of the Royal Rumble, which is set to be held near where NXT normally tapes. I imagine they'll have a big turnout from people coming in town to watch the Rumble.

TNA's (?) Andrew Everett will undergoing a small surgery soon for a tear in his meniscus. Hopefully we'll see him back there in 2016.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Nick Bockwinkel's passing was picked up by mainstream press. He was a bigger star than just in the wrestling world.

Update: Here's WWE's video on the legend.

The former Justin Gabriel is now working for LU. That presumably precludes him from working TNA, etc.. I hope he does good things there.

Former ECW name Hack Myers is underdoing brain surgery. That sounds dreadful. I hope he turns out OK.

Ring of Honor is moving to Comet TV from Destination America come December. They'll finish out their initial deal with DA at the end of the month. Comet is owned by ROH's parent company, so this isn't a big surprise. They'll remain available quasi-nationally through Comet and local affiliates.

Steve Corino underwent neck fusion surgery on multiple discs. ROH had been building to something between him and BJ Whitmer that was bar-none the best story I'd seen from them in their time on DA. It's going to be a real slog getting through the show with that angle put on hold.

Officially set for Survivor Series:
- Undertaker/Kane vs. two members of the Wyatt Family (I wholly expect this to become a four-on-four or four-on-four match).
- WWE Championship semifinals and finals: The semifinals feature Ambrose vs. Owens and Reigns vs. Del Rio.
- WWE Divas Championship: Charlotte vs. Paige

I expect New Day vs. the Usos to be added at the least.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They're definitely both on the radar to be brought up at some point, but I think this was just to get them some experience at that stage. I don't think we'll see any more callups until 2016 given Breeze just debuted and Charlotte just won the title.

2. I could only imagine the nightmares of trying to coordinate buying rental cars for that many talents. It works better for the talents to do it themselves.

3. I think Dana will get as much as he can out of Ronda before potentially letting WWE profit off his star.

4. There's also this one guy who has a briefcase... And the whole "just have a good match and let the fans pick who they like" shit only really works on a smaller scale. Most fans want to see the good vs. evil thing.

5. Unless live event attendance drops to the point where it'd be more profitable to do one loop that's more loaded, I think they'll stick to two brands.
