What happened after Raw, rumorkiller of former TNA Champion at Survivor Series, Interview with Cornette+Sulivan, California indie star passes, NXT star leaves, Raw audience, NWA on the Network, and Questions on the ending of Survivor Series, the Charlotte/Paige angle, and WWE burials

Roman Reigns cut a promo thanking Nashville after Raw. No dark match.

TNA star Mr. Anderson was spotted in Atlanta the night of Survivor Series, leading to speculation of him looking to return to WWE. Anderson was working for an indie promotion that night. I think he'd be good as someone credible for rising stars to work with, but he wouldn't be someone I'd be looking to push if I was WWE. Either way, he's signed to TNA now and there's no indication of that changing in the near future.

The latest edition of Back to the Territories features Jim Cornette and Kevin Sullivan discussing Florida. That should be pretty fun and educational.

California star Rising Son passed away suddenly at 33. That's a young age to go. Thoughts are with his friends, fans, and family.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Solomon Crowe has asked for and received his release from NXT. I can't say I blame him given his lack of upward mobility there. I think he's a talented guy, but never really found his niche. Maybe we'll see him again in a few years after he comes up with what he needs to do to stand out and make an impact.

Raw's audience Monday was 2.96 million viewers, the lowest mark they've been at since going to three hours. USA Network should be on the phone with Vince discussing whether it's time for someone new to head up Creative (it is).

WWE Network has a new section of TV episodes from the NWA from the '80s. That's a pretty cool section to add. I hope there's more where that came from.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Follow-up will be key as always. If we get a hot feud of HHH vs. Roman at WM32 out of it, I'm not complaining. WWE needed a new top heel with Rollins out, and it's definitely better than Big Show being in that slot.

2. I think having a hero go up against the establishment is pretty much a tale as old as time. There are only so many stories they can do. I didn't see it as "let's do what we did with Bryan" as much as "we need a new top heel in the title picture."

3. That's a lot of assumptions! Sheamus losing in the first round was actually clever since it eliminated him from the title picture at the PPV itself and made it more of a surprise when he cashed in. AND him cashing in after Reigns survived so many matches is a bigger heartbreak for Roman to avenge. I think the problem is they have so much screen time to fill, so they run through a lot of story ideas pretty quickly.

4. It didn't make me want to see Charlotte beat Paige for the title. It just came off as a cheap way to get more attention to the feud. So, in that sense, it wasn't effective.

5. No but that's hilarious. Just imagine what they'd give Adam Rose.

More wrestling tomorrow.
