Interviews with Reigns/Rousey/JR/Lagana/DJ Z/AJ Styles/Stephanie, Smackdown audience, more ROH matches announced, and Questions on booking Braun, Brock's matches, HHH defending Shane, buying more stock than Vince, and Jarrett's future

Roman Reigns talked about the feud with Cena and more:
- Cena definitely put Reigns to the test there.

- I definitely want to see more inspired promos from Reigns.

- Roman taking the title from Brock to end WM34 is a definite possibility, like it or not.

- Seth turning on The Shield was brilliant, because they'd already conquered everyone else and it meant fans clamored for more from the trio, which they're now getting.

- I'm glad Seth and Roman have done so well post-Shield. Dean has been less successful, but he's hardly faded away.

- OH MAN. Roman calling the Bucks out! He's got a point, but I think the Bullet Club works in Japan because factions like DX and the nWo aren't really as cliche there as they've become here.

- I really appreciate Roman vs. Braun being more than "golly gee I'm a better WRESTLER than you and I'm going to win that TITLE!!!!" That gets really old.

- Rock vs. Roman would be big, but I don't know if it's going to happen with Rock's schedule.

Ronda Rousey and her husband teased going to WWE. Geez, they might as well start building an MMA division at this point.

Jim Ross promoted his new book on ESPN. Commentary today is definitely vastly different from his days. While territories aren't a thing anymore, there are still smaller wrestling companies out there for people to begin getting experience in the role.

Dave Lagana gave a LONG interview about the future of NWA under the Billy Corgan regime. I look forward to seeing how the company is transformed in the months to come.

DJ Z discussed returning from injury and his future:
- I wouldn't blame DJ Z for considering other options given the seemingly constant changes in Impact. He definitely set himself up to get heat with his rather candid portrayal of the backstage environment.

- Robbie E is going to be known primarily for his Jersey Shore gimmick, but that's better than not being known at all! He took that idea and ran with it.

Smackdown drew 2.47 million viewers this week, a nice jump from last week for the show after HIAC.

AJ Styles promoted WWE heading to the UK. Only NJPW headliners can be considered the best in the world...

ROH has announced the following matches:
- Deonna Purrazzo vs. Stella Grey on October 12
- Britt Baker, Faye Jackson, & Sumie Sakai vs. Deonna Purrazzo, Mandy Leon, & Jenny Rose on October 13
- Deonna Purrazzo vs. Karen Q. at the TV taping on October 20

ROH Survival of the Fittest is returning from November 17 through November 19 in Texas and Oklahoma. No competitors have been announced yet.

Stephanie McMahon talked to Fortune. WWE also chose the Network route because they would have had to share so much revenue with the cable/satellite companies. Vince balked at such an arrangement.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. When you have The Shield feud with Strowman, one side has to do the job. The story is that Braun is such a threat that they all have to work together to take him out, so he's still pretty strong despite the Brock loss. We'll see what things look like for everyone in a few months.

2. Suplex City is over, so they're giving people what they want. Not everything is about "having a four-star match." Sometimes it's about having a big clash between superhuman athletes.

3. I'm OK with HHH being a "final boss" for Owens IF KO beats him and Owens looks like the bigger badass. That would also mean HHH can't throw the rest of the roster under the bus as not being at his level. I'd rather have HHH vs. Angle, since it won't matter if HHH beats someone who's not an active wrestler.

4. I don't see it happening anytime soon. It's possible Vince sells some stock in the years to come as further steps back, but I expect he's going to keep hanging on to control for the foreseeable future.

5. If he's not back to Impact by the end of the year, I guess he's going to try to continue making appearances on the indies and possibly seek a WWE legends deal. I really hope he doesn't try to start another wrestling promotion after the original GFW stalled.

More wrestling tomorrow.
