Main Event Reax - 10/21/17, TLC hype, Rock honored, Interviews with Alexa/Emma, DDP set for Syfy show, Owens update, WWE Network thinkpiece, HHH replacing AJ, and Questions on Nia's absence, changing the TLC card, Kane's return, WWE buying another touring group, and a Sami DVD

-- Main Event:
- Rhyno vs. Wilder:
Nice start.

I'm liking how these two work together.

I'm a little surprised Wilder's got the advantage gere.

The Revival could probably make good faces as talented as they are.

Nice Gore tease.

Pretty good ending!

- Gulak vs. Mustafa:
I like Drew's technique.

Nice matwork here.

Wow. Mustafa is NOT following the rules of Drewtopia!!

This is going well. They're telling a story with their distinct styles.

That was pretty cool!

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose did a promo on teaming with Kurt Angle. It's going to be a historic night!

- Braun Strowman and The Bar also weighed in.

The Rock got his own day in Vancouver. That's amazing.

- Rusev fired back. I love it.

Alexa Bliss talked to the New York Post:
- She has totally eclipsed Blake and Murphy. They're long gone from NXT TV while she's holding titles all over the place.

- Alexa has a great story and really puts a lot into her work.

- That's a really harrowing story of battling anorexia.

- Alexa and Nia are a blast together.

Diamond Dallas Page will be on SyFy's "Superstition" sometime this season.

Emma promoted TLC in Australia. I'm glad she can be a good ambassador for that market.

Kevin Owens commented on taking time off the road. I wish him and his family well.

The Motley Fool discussed the WWE Network's progress. WWE absolutely needs to keep making big money deals for Raw and Smackdown in the years to come.

Triple H joined Smackdown's tour of South America with Kevin Owens out and AJ Styles working TLC.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'm going to take Alexa at her word for now and chalk it up to Nia just needing a break from the grind of WWE.

2. I would have just plugged Balor into the main event and added some undercard matches, but WWE clearly wanted to get last-minute buzz for the show by pulling out all the stops.

3. I also think Kane's return was an homage to The Shield's first TLC and potentially a way to get the audience up. I'd be surprised if he just came in for a week to do the job; that'd be a waste of someone with only so many matches left in him.

4. I think they'd rather keep expanding what they do now than buy someone else's very different assets, especially with the budget crunch they have right now.

5. I'm sure we'll get one at some point. Owens has had more big moments than Sami so far.

More wrestling tomorrow.
