More on Angle-TLC, Nia update, Regal gives advice, WWE live event note, special TLC merchandise, former AWA tag champion passes, Impact splits from Jarrett/GFW, NJPW name saves woman's life, Flair booked for indie show, Interviews with JR/DeMott, Jarrett misses advertised event, AJ on TLC "Too Sweet," BFG staff changes, WWE celebrating Halloween, WWE investing in eSports company, Survivor Series special ref?, another Survivor Series match brewing, Bischoff working with WWE, Bruno staying in PA, and Questions on Veda-WWE, Bullet Club bloat, Jose's ring work, and Neville breaching contract

Daniel Bryan tweeted about Kurt Angle returning to the ring. One would think there's a slight chance they'd clear Bryan if a similar situation arises in the future, but it's definitely not a guarantee. They'd have to be really backed into a corner.

- Angle returning to the ring was a Vince McMahon idea. Angle passed a physical before being announced for the show.

- There are currently no further plans for Angle to compete. I expect that will change as we approach Wrestlemania.

Nia Jax returned to Twitter during TLC, seemingly suggesting she's getting ready to get back into things.

William Regal gave some advice to wrestlers after the conclusion of AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor: Tweet 1 Tweet 2 Tweet 3. Regal is wise; I'm glad he's in the spot he's in.

Smackdown didn't have a live event Monday due to traveling back to the U.S. from South America. That definitely helped the siege angle on Raw, which I expect we'll be a one-time thing as live events resume.

Kevin Owens currently doesn't have a set date to return to the road due to his undisclosed family matter. Hopefully all becomes well with them shortly.

TLC ringside seats had commemorative chairs featuring The Shield. I'm curious when the actual reunion will be; it would be odd if it took place off-air at a live event.

Former AWA World Tag Team Champion Krusher Kowalski passed away at age 91. Local Minnesota news outlets KARE-TV and KTSP-TV remembered him, and PWInsider ran down his career.

Impact Wrestling has officially severed ties with Jeff Jarrett and GFW. It will be interesting to see what the fallout from that will be given the personnel and talent Jarrett brought to the company. Hopefully people like Dutch Mantell and Scott D'Amore continue at Impact, as I don't expect a GFW relaunch to succeed.

- Impact will air the final installment of the GFW PPV series as scheduled. I assume they'd be in breach of contract if they initially agreed to air four PPVs and only aired three. Plus, they already built their taping schedule around having those shows for One Night Only events.

- There is no update on Karen Jarrett's status at this time. I think Impact will pretty much try to quietly move on to the hype for their shows in Ottawa rather than discuss the Jarrett situation any further.

Davey Boy Smith, Jr. prevented a woman from jumping off a bridge in Alberta. I hope she gets help.

Ric Flair will be at a House of Glory event on December 16 in New York. I'm very glad he's able to be back in the public eye.

Jim Ross discussed getting back to work after his wife's passing. That's got to be really tough to get through; no one would fault him for taking time off.

Bill DeMott discussed his foundation to combat drunk driving. It's terrible he lost his 20-year-old daughter that way. I applaud his efforts.

Jeff Jarrett worked one of two scheduled dates for a Canadian indie promotion this weekend before leaving the country. I hope whatever is going on with Jeff is resolved soon, for everyone's personal and professional sakes.

AJ Styles discussed doing the "Too Sweet" gesture with Finn Balor at TLC. I definitely didn't think it was something WWE management told them to do, but I can see how people would think it was a response to the issue with the Young Bucks.

Impact is expected to use Ottawa-era staff for their upcoming tapings, as their usual ring announcer will not be working those shows. That's interesting. That does save Impact from having to pay for flights for some talents. I'm curious how that will play out if/when there are TV tapings in other locations.

WWE's mobile games are getting a zombie-themed update for Halloween. The zombie thing is getting really played out, but I like them getting festive.

WWE Network has more Halloween-themed clips in their collection of short videos. I'm curious if they'll do anything special for Halloween week episodes given the build to Survivor Series.

WWE is part of a group of investors funding an eSports organization. Interesting they're willing to spend a big chunk of money on that kind of thing, but maybe they're going to surprise us with some really good numbers on the next earnings conference call.

John Cena could be the special referee for Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal. That makes sense with his "free agent" status, and could set up an "out" to either man jobbing clean.

Alicia Fox wasn't originally in the match to determine the captain of Raw's Survivor Series team. Her involvement was a fresh and interesting wrinkle to things.

Kane vs. Braun Strowman is expected at Survivor Series, as was advanced on Raw. I look forward to that; it could easily be Kane's last big match. Braun was backstage at Raw, but kept off the air to sell what happened at TLC.

Eric Bischoff was recently in New York for a WWE-related project. Part of me wouldn't mind him returning in an on-screen role, but it has been 16 years since WCW closed down.

Bruno Sammartino will no longer be doing appearances outside of Pittsburgh, as he wants to spend more time with his family. I don't blame him after spending decades in the public eye.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There was/is an obvious role for her working with Cedric Alexander again. The fact WWE hasn't used her for anything yet, including the MYC, is pretty telling, because she's been a free agent for some time now. I do think she'd be a good interviewer for them, but I think she might want to continue as a wrestler for the time being.

2. I definitely think they've hit a point where they're more or less coasting. Like their predecessors, they went from being anti-establishment to being the establishment. That said, they keep selling a lot of merchandise and drawing crowds, so I don't think it's time to end them anytime soon.

3. It's really unfortunate that has to be a concern. I'd definitely echo the "stay in groups"/"stick to the main attractions" advice.

4. I like him! I don't expect him to be a top guy, but I could see him doing alright on the main roster in his niche.

5. I know they kept Punk under contract so they could keep selling his merchandise and so he couldn't wrestle elsewhere. I could see them doing something similar with Neville if they think he'll leave and be a draw elsewhere. WWE can be petty and vengeful at times; they like their talent to mostly stay in line and do what they're told.

More wrestling tomorrow.
