Japanese promotions have continued to adjust plans due to the coronavirus:
- DDT has canceled events from February 28 through March 8. There will be some events taped at the Ochanomizu dojo but fans will not be able to attend.

- TJP is rescheduling their March 1 event.

- NOAH's upcoming "meet and greet" has been canceled.

- NJPW has canceled all events from March 1 through March 15, including the New Japan Cup.

Austin Theory spoke before NXT. I like his attitude that he still has a lot of room to grow.

WWE Studios' "Rumble" got a trailer.

Busted Open Radio was SiriusXM's most listened sports show for 2019. That's very impressive!

Chris Jericho, Dustin Rhodes, and the Young Bucks was interviewed at the New York Toy Fair.

Alex Shelley has been added to ROH's Pure Championship tournament. Perfect.

Impact next week will feature Tessa Blanchard vs. Taya Valkyrie for the World Championship. Interesting direction. Honestly now I want to see Ace Austin or someone challenge for the Knockouts Title.

Ken Shamrock spoke on Ethan Page's latest vlog.

MLW met with Viacom regarding streaming rights recently. That's encouraging!

Mexico's Demus will work MLW's April 18 event, as mini luchadores are coming to the promotion. MLW continues to cultivate unique attractions.

Ric Flair was at NXT. I'd love to see him involved in the Charlotte-Rhea feud, but there's no way anyone will boo him.

Xavier Woods discussed UpUpDownDown's creation. It's been very successful.

Jinny and Mark Andrews looked back at Jinny's first match.

Angelina Love has been added to ROH's Women's Championship tournament. Hoping to see some Stardom crossover there.

Tito Ortiz vs. Alberto El Patron has been ruled a No Contest by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as the body undergoes a fact-finding investigation. I imagine we'll hear more on that soon; that's not good for Combate Americas in such a high-profile bout.

The WWE Performance Center has Rudy Boy Gonzalez and Nick Foti as a guest coaches this week.

AEW has signed Lance Archer to a multi-year deal. I'm interested to see what he'll do.

Ric Flair introduced LeBron James Tuesday at an NBA game. Very cool to see.

Drake wore two WWE championships at an NBA game. I love it!

EVOLVE 145 will stream free online.

Kris Statlander will miss Bar Wrestling's event tonight due to the flu. She's still set to compete at Revolution.

Kenny Omega spoke before Dynamite. Interesting discussion about changes from NJPW.

Josh Barnett spoke to Tokyo Sports about returning to Japan to wrestle.

NXT has added Velveteen Dream vs. Roderick Strong in a cage match in addition to the previously announced cage match of Dakota Kai vs. Tegan Nox.

Legends of Lucha Libre revealed action figures for Konnan, Lady Maravilla, The Lucha Bros, Super Astro, Solar, Timieblas, Jr., Juventud Guerrera, and Taya Valkyrie

Revolution has added Pac vs. Orange Cassidy. I'd love to see the betting odds for that one.

NXT's March 11 episode will come from the WWE Performance Center due to Full Sail being unavailable that day.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Yeah it's a knee-jerk reaction and an impatience to have everything explained ASAP. In a day of leaks and spoilers, there's an instant gratification thing. That said, followup to such debuts is key. NXT has done a decent job so far with Raquel, but The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny were kind of lumped into the bigger MJF/Cody feud. It's weird because they're sort of affiliated with MJF but also kind of their own thing. It's a little wishy-washy.

2. I defer to them here. Knowing why people are feuding definitely enhances the matches!

3. I definitely think WWE could make a monster heel out of The Demon, but I think Finn felt that that persona had lost its meaning and he needed to go back to being "himself." I don't see a need to rush to use it again.

4. That would be up to their partner, I expect. I would think the partner would want to know how long they expect to go.

5. Referees have earpieces so people in the back can relay instructions regarding the match's pacing, etc.

More wrestling tomorrow.
