Mania 5k announced, Interview with Cody, WM36 plans, AEW name gets stitches, NJPW-ROH tour set, and AEW+NXT ratings

WWE has announced a "WrestleMania 5K Fun Run" the day before WrestleMania, as well as a WWE costume contest. The event will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. That's a pretty good idea.

Cody is on AEW's second podcast, recapped here:
- Glad they're aware of the criticism of having multiple creative visions.

- I really wish those Dusty event names were being used by NWA instead. It doesn't really fit with what AEW does, as they're trying to build a younger fan base.

- I REALLY like his growth of developmental. He adds important things to AEW's structure.

- I love Cody not just saying that absolutely Dusty would be in AEW.

WrestleMania 36's current planned matches are reported to include:
- Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship
- John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
-- Honestly if the title was on the line in the latter instead of the former I'd be good with it. It feels really weird (and shortsighted) as is.

Chris Jericho received seven stitches after Jon Moxley's headbutt.

NJPW/ROH War of the Worlds 2020 has been announced:
- May 6 in New York
- May 7 in Ontario
- May 9 in Michigan
- May 10 in Illinois
-- Glad to see that relationship flourish again.

Dynamite drew 865,000 viewers this week. Fine enough number.

NXT drew 717,000 viewers this week. They're definitely hoping things improve with the cage matches next week.

AEW's Countdown to Revolution special drew 383,000 viewers.

More wrestling tomorrow.
