NXT release, Interview with Mandy/Rinku/Kanellis/Baker, Smackdown audience, AEW star teases retirement, Hawkins' wife discusses release, coronavirus-related wrestling updates, wrestling competition show coming?, XFL collapse story, UK wrestling school closes, Dynamite adds segment, and Questions on WWE's restaurant and AXXESS returning

Kassius Ohno has been released by WWE. It's clear they weren't doing a lot with him, and if he wasn't going to become a coach or whatever it was probably time.

Mandy Rose spoke to Jim Varsallone.

Smackdown drew 2.19 million viewers this week.

Dustin Rhodes has pledged to retire if he loses on Dynamite this week. That would be very anticlimactic. Retiring to Lance Archer on the other hand...

Curt Hawkins' wife discussed his release. Sounds like he's been an inspiration to others in the process.

Coronavirus-related wrestling updates:
- The coronavirus' effects on wrestling were covered in Massachusetts.

- WWE superstars are scheduled for the Live Global Citizen concert.

- Xavier Woods spoke about the pandemic with Neil deGrasse Tyson.

"Pro Wrestling Has Talent" has been trademarked in Florida. That sounds like a reality competition.

NXT's Rinku discussed his journey to WWE.

Mike Kanellis discussed his WWE release. He's handling it with class.

The XFL's collapse was covered by Sports Business Daily.

OTT has closed its wrestling school due to a dispute with their landlord.

Britt Baker got press in Bleacher Report. I've liked her work but "Wrestling's Top New Heel" is a little much. This was a good luck at AEW's creative freedom, though. There's a team there that wants everyone to succeed.

Dynamite has added Matt Hardy appearing from The Hardy Compound. OOF.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to add to 1, 2, or 3.

4. Not anytime soon, given the expenses involved. Even if it wasn't for COVID-19, it didn't look like a strong possibility.

5. It's possible, if they do the Hall of Fame at Summerslam as rumored.

More wrestling tomorrow.
