Interviews with Shamrock/WWE historian/Reigns, TNA does good deed for federal employees, NXT star on live events, no Khali on big screen, tag team star getting singles push?, Cena update and Questions on AJ Styles, Goldust, the Bellas and Taker

Ken Shamrock gave an interview about a number of wrestling topics. Looks like bringing him back won't be best for business. Vince is still in charge of Creative. If he doesn't want HHH out there, he can keep him back behind the scenes. As for a comeback, is there really that big of a demand for a 49-year-old retired MMA star who hasn't appeared in WWE in 14 years? He doesn't even have 6,000 Twitter followers. I don't even think TNA would take him at this point.

TNA is offering free tickets to an upcoming Impact taping for federal employees. That's actually pretty clever. They probably need help filling the venue anyway.

NXT Champion Bo Dallas worked this weekend's WWE live events, defeating Curt Hawkins. I bet a BOatload of people will be complaining that he's on that loop ahead of other NXT stars.

Update: Apparently Bo said it was great to be in Rochester, NY before his match. It was in Syracuse. This got Hawkins cheered. I think he'll be a great heat magnet. He's very punchable.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE Encyclopedia co-author Brian Shields was interviewed. Great to hear from such a knowledgeable fan who doesn't think every show is the worst show ever, etc.. I've heard the Cape Fear analogy for the Wyatts before.

Roman Reigns talked about The Shield. Very motivated guy. Don't let the IWC know that WWE is actually putting new stars in big roles.

WWE reportedly prevented The Great Khali from being in a big Hollywood film. That could have been great publicity for WWE. No way is he too valuable to the wrestling side of the product to take time off to shoot a movie. Right?

Drew McIntyre could be in line for a singles push. I'd be more than ok with that. I've been quite impressed with his work over the years.

John Cena is said to be healing well after his surgery, tweeting this. Cena's going to be around a long time I think.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. They actually explained this in that segment. Basically, since the BFG match was set while he was still under contract, it's still on. But he's not under contract (in kayfabe).

2. More people recognize him as Goldust than Dustin Rhodes. At least part of the audience would be wondering who the heck that was storming the ring with Cody. Not to mention how much older he looks without the makeup.

Nothing to add to 3, other than ECW was really crazy.

4. Pretty much that, plus Orton heeling the Bellas backstage. As for them all working together, it's a case of having common enemies in AJ's faction.

5. Complete thoughts as questions. When? He's advertised for WM30. Other than that, I haven't really seen anything. It'd be interesting if he came back in conjunction with WWE 2K14's release given the whole "Phenom Edition" thing (as well as the McFarlane Toys figure), but nothing's set in stone.

More wrestling coming up.
