NXT star/live event note, TNA Hall of Fame note, more on WWE Network, BFG attendance, BFG guest, potential future Knockouts, cable issues mar BFG, new face in TNA, Carter's opponent and Questions on journalism, WWE voting, TNA's ills, the HHH angle and Taker as a full-time guy

Tyler Breeze lost to Justin Gabriel on this weekend's WWE live event.

Samoa Joe, Sting and Magnus all gave speeches for Kurt Angle ahead of him going into the TNA Hall of Fame. Doesn't sound nearly as interesting as if EGO had interrupted.

WWE sent out an update about the status of the WWE Network. They remain tentative about it. They pretty much have to announce something at the Conference Call, right?

TNA sold at least 3,000 tickets before Bound For Glory. Not bad at all given some of the showings they've had.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Former NWA Champion Adam Pearce was backstage at Bound For Glory. I wouldn't mind him getting another shot in TNA.

Hulk Hogan wasn't at Bound For Glory. We're not out of the woods yet, though. The two sides could still be talking. I think they've gotten all of the "rub" they're going to get from him at this point.

ROH's Veda Scott and PWG's Candice LaRae had a tryout match against each other before Bound For Glory. The Knockouts division could definitely use some qualified wrestlers.

A number of Time Warner cable subscribers in the Northeast had issues ordering Bound For Glory. The company was probably unprepared for people actually trying to order a TNA PPV.

TNA's new announcer is an anchor in Louisville, KY and a graduate from Washington State University. I wonder what Todd Keneley thinks about him being brought in.

EC3's opponent at Bound For Glory is best known as Peter Avalon. That vanilla midget will never draw, brother.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. He's probably a lot busier than people think. (Credible, fact-based) stories don't just appear out of thin air, you know.

2. People still don't believe this. Obviously there have been times where technical errors have occurred (Mason Ryan vs. Evan Bourne), but WWE's not rigging the polls or anything.

3. I don't put a ton of blame on Prichard, personally. I think he generally did a better job of booking than Russo. He had too many duties since he was also head of Talent Relations and that was a big problem. As for Hogan and Bischoff, they definitely have notable "misses" that should be noted by Dixie.

4. I think they had (have?) a bigger plan in mind to elevate the likes of The Shield, Bryan and Cody Rhodes through this angle. I don't think it's just a matter of them pushing HHH/Stephanie at everyone else's expense.

5. Taker's status is very "touch-and-go". I'd be quite surprised if he came back at a greater schedule than he does now. Heck, I'm surprised in some ways that he's still going at the schedule he has now.

More wrestling tomorrow.
