What happened after Raw, WWE tryouts, HBK update, Interviews with Spike/Daniels, Punk hurt on Raw, former Divas' Champ at Performance Center, Goldust-indies update, Kofi hits NXT, ex-TNA Knockout at Raw, update on Hogan-TNA, Styles angle continues, TNA star lays down Bellator challenge, Raw audience, Dixie addresses latest TNA rumor and Questions on TNA invading, Magnus, Steph wrestling, changing WWE and Raw vs. Nitro

After Raw, HHH heeled the crowd in attendance for chanting "Yes!" He then "hired" the audience for the sole purpose of firing them before actually firing them. I wonder what investors feel about a company hiring thousands of employees before firing them outright that same day...

There were a number of students from Team 3D's wrestling academy receiving tryouts or being used as extras during the Raw taping. I wonder how TNA feels about that.

There are discussions to use HBK more on TV. If it gets Bryan further over, I'm all for it.

Here's a big interview with the former Spike Dudley covering a lot of topics. I always liked him.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
C.M. Punk was busted open on Raw during his segment with the Wyatt Family. No stitches were needed. As if Punk needed more aches and pains...

Eve Torres taught WWE's developmental Divas some self-defense. That's pretty cool. Glad she's still on good terms with the company.

Goldust has been pulled from House of Hardcore 3 due to his new WWE deal. WWE has Goldust working live events beginning this weekend. Honestly, I feel WWE should let him honor the dates he made before coming back.

Kofi Kingston will be at the 11/21 NXT taping. Remember when he was feuding with Randy Orton? I miss that Kofi. It's great to be a solid IC Title-level guy, but I'd like to think Kofi has more potential than that.

Former TNA Knockout SoCal Val was in attendance at Raw. Honestly, I'm a little surprised she stuck with TNA as long as she did. She wasn't an integral part of the show by any means. Heck, I had forgotten she was gone. I don't dislike her, but I don't see much of a reason to use her.

Hulk Hogan and AJ Styles have been removed from the TNA roster. Styles' removal is kayfabe, as he signed a contract extension through December. Hogan still hasn't re-signed (and I wouldn't mind if it doesn't).

Speaking of AJ Styles, he'll be defending the TNA World Championship in AAA. I love that. Very clever way to extend the angle and give a boost to TNA's partners at the same time.

Christopher Daniels was interviewed about TNA. I wonder how many people will be up in arms about TNA being "the second biggest professional wrestling company in America". Some have been led to believe that ROH has that spot. While TNA definitely needs some restructuring, there's no truth to them being close to bankruptcy. Daniels has done a great job remaining uninjured and active in his early 40s. He's a great asset to TNA (though I don't necessarily see him as World Champion material) Technically Daniels did work for WWF way back when, but in a very minor role. As for where Daniels is on the card now, he does have more legs in his character than he used to. That's definitely helped him get more screen time.

Former TNA Champion (man, does that feel good to say) Bully Ray has challenged Rampage Jackson to fight in Bellator, since Tito Ortiz is no longer available. I would actually watch that. Especially if Rampage beat up Bully's FFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

The 10/28 Raw got 4.16 million viewers. That's the highest the show has done since the two weeks following Summerslam. You'd think if fans were so upset at the "burial" of Daniel Bryan, they'd tune OUT.

Dixie Carter put out a tweet seemingly directed at the recent erroneous "TNA is being sold" rumors.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I can just see that now. "Who's that coming down to the ring, John?" "I DON'T KNOW, MAGGLE, BUT HE'S GOT THE UGLIEST AJ TATTOO I'VE EVER SEEN." "TNA must stand for Total Nobodies Association. WEEP WOOP." I honestly think there are only so many people WWE should pick up if TNA collapses in the near future. Most of the audience doesn't watch Impact, so they'd have to educate a lot of people on who these "new" guys are and why we should care.

2. That's way too many punctuation marks. There is always a question with a currently-employed wrestler of how much they're shooting vs. working and he wants to stay in the good graces of management, so I think that factors in a bit.

3. Am I the only one who thinks it's silly to use wrestlers' real names in posts like this? I think if built right, a Stephanie match could draw in some people. Remember that it's not about how GOOD the match will be. There's a reason people still talk about Kaufman vs. Lawler and it wasn't because it was a 5-star classic. As for who she should face, they should use her to put over a current Diva. Like, say, Daniel Bryan's future wife? Steph's in good shape, so I don't see a match as out of the question.

4. Note: USA Network could make that call, too. But consistently doing lower numbers could definitely cause some changes. Don't think those changes would mean Vince stepping down, though.

Not much to add to 5. Context is always important!

More wrestling tomorrow!
