Concussion attorney set to appeal, WWE scouts BOLA, Booker appearance, Jeff+Orton updates post-HIAC, Alexa injured, GLOW wins awards, MLB wrestling night, Interview with Nia, WWE and Impact execs meet, NXT releases former Impact star, DBD main event set, Raw audience, MYC talent signed?, WWEPC guests, WWE donates to Kane's hometown, WWE 2K19 DLC set, new WWE counsel, and Questions on Raw's overrun, Owen in the HoF post-Martha, Russo's antics, 205 Live's future, and Ronda's armbar in WWE vs. UFC

The attorney behind WWE's concussion-related lawsuits has indicated he will appeal Monday's ruling. I suspect he'll keep trying to make the situation turn in his favor as long as he's legally able to. His actions have served to degrade his profession and make a mockery of the legal system in general.

AJ Styles is the subject of an Honorclub collection, featuring five hours of his ROH matches from 2006 and 2014. It makes complete sense to utilize that content in the hopes of getting people who have seen AJ's work elsewhere to check out ROH.

WWE scouted talent at PWG's Battle of Los Angeles this weekend, sending William Regal and Brian Kendrick to speak with wrestlers involved in that tournament. That's hardly a surprise given the collection of talent assembled. I fully expect some of the people on that card to be pursued for WWE contracts.

Booker T. is set for Absolute Intense Wrestling's Ohio show on November 3. Perhaps he'll find some talent there worth recruiting.

Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton competed the night after Hell In A Cell. Hardy teamed with AJ Styles and R-Truth to defeat Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Samoa Joe in Oklahoma. I'm surprised they had Jeff in even that limited role after talking about him having internal bleeding on Sunday.

Alexa Bliss will be missing ring time due to a legitimate arm injury suffered at Hell In A Cell. She's been pulled from some live events, and Ember Moon is substituting for her on Mixed Match Challenge while she recovers.

GLOW won Emmy awards for Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour or Less), in addition to Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy Series or Variety Program. Unsurprisingly, the show will return for a third season.

The Baltimore Orioles are having a wrestling-themed event with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows appearing. Again, AJ Styles appeared with TMNT and these two are at baseball games.

Nia Jax spoke to Today.com. promoting "Total Divas" ahead of its season premiere.

WWE and Impact executives recently met at WWE headquarters, with Impact's Ed Nordholm and Scott D'Amore attending. Vince McMahon was not present. It's unknown what the nature of the meeting was.

NXT released former Impact name Mahabali Shera, who had worked there under his real name of Amanpreet Singh. He had never appeared on NXT TV, but had worked live events.

Death Before Dishonor will be headlined by Jay Lethal vs. Will Ospreay for the ROH World Championship, with Ospreay answering Lethal's open challenge.

Raw drew 2.67 million viewers against the return of the NFL. The show's audience dropped from last week despite following a newsworthy PPV.

Mia Yim was recently seen at the WWE Performance Center, sparking speculation of her being signed to NXT. I'd love to see it!

- Christian was also recently at the facility.

WWE has donated $100,000 to first responders in Kane's county in Tennessee, at the new mayor's request. That's AMAZING. I'm glad they're supporting a model employee.

- Interestingly, Kane says his only scheduled date is Super Show-Down. There's a natural follow-up match to do at Crown Jewel with DX vs. the Brothers of Destruction.

Samoa Joe did local press to support Smackdown Live.

WWE 2K19 will feature the following DLC wrestlers:
- Bobby Lashley
- Candice LeRae
- Dakota Kai
- EC3
- Lacey Evans
- Maria and Mike Kanellis
- Ricochet
- The War Raiders
-- Those NXT names being included is a good sign of how much WWE values them.

WWE has announced a new general counsel. That's a major role.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Given the numbers WWE pulls for the channel compared to their other programming, they probably want there to be as much of an overrun as possible!

2. I also think this is a little uncomfortable territory for a question, but I agree the decision would likely fall to Owen's children.

3. While I've often defended Russo's contributions to the wrestling industry, his conduct the last few years has hardly endeared him to anyone, and I think everyone (including Russo) would be served well by him leaving the public eye and moving onto doing something else with his time. It's not doing anything good for anyone.

4. I generally enjoy 205 Live, and think everyone involved has talent, but I think it's time for WWE to really take a look at the show and see if it's worth continuing at whatever the expense currently is. If not, they either to need to really change their approach with the division or discontinue it.

5. That might be how UFC fighters do the move, but WWE superstar Ronda Rousey will defeat opponents with the current version of the move.

More wrestling tomorrow.
