nWo Q&A set, Podcast notes, past NWA names at anniversary, former WWE tag champion at WWEPC, title match on SDL?, MYC competitor signed, Raw backstage names, MSG matches advertised, Liv update, and Questions on talents changing their looks, Kane wrestling while mayor, what WWE's roster needs, mispronouncing WWE, and Abyss' Impact status

An nWo Q&A session is set for October 27 in Orlando. Eric Bischoff and Conrad Thompson will also be answering questions there. Thompson has really established himself as a coordinator of such events.

Becky Lynch is on Lilian Garcia's latest podcast, discussing the feud with Charlotte Flair.

Renee Young is on Jim Ross' latest podcast. It's surreal they're both full-time Raw commentators. I'm glad to see it.

NWA's 70th anniversary event is advertising appearances by Jeff Jarrett, Dory Funk, Jr., Colt Cabana, Blue Demon, Jr., Tim Storm, and J.J. Dillon. It's good to see those former NWA Champions on hand, and Dillon only adds to the prestige.

Rob Conway is a WWE Performance Center guest trainer this week.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tye Dillinger for the United States Championship is being teased for Smackdown Live. I'm curious where Shinsuke's reign goes from here.

Mia Yim has been signed to NXT following her Mae Young Classic work, making her the first talent signed following this year's event. I hope she does well.

The Undertaker was backstage at Raw, but surprisingly not used on TV.

- He was backstage for a photo shoot. He's expected to be on next week's episode.

Paige was backstage at Raw to film material related to Survivor Series. That will likely have a Raw vs. Smackdown Live theme.

NXT's Shayna Baszler and Dakota Kai were backstage at Raw. I expect to see both wrestle at Evolution.

Brock Lesnar was discussed for this week's Raw, but was not backstage. There's not much reason for him to be there just now. They should focus on SSD before hyping Crown Jewel.

Madison Square Garden's December 26 Smackdown Live live event is currently set to feature:
- AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe in a steel cage match
- The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan
- Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
-- We'll see if/how that lineup changes in the next three months.

Liv Morgan was checked out by trainers after Raw, but no conclusions were reached as of last night. She took a pretty serious kick. I hope she's able to rebound.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WWE always wants to be aware if a talent is changing their look, since they've got action figures, video game scans, etc. planned in advance and they don't want them to be outdated!

2. As long as it's just an occasional thing and he delivers on his campaign promises, I think they'll be fine with it. Especially if he gets press and WWE funds to Knox County!

3. Actually going forward and doing it instead of talking about doing it. That, and not taking the business too seriously (since most of the people making the decisions don't).

4. WWE could probably use a bit more wrestlers with size who focus more on brawling. Nowadays seemingly every wrestler flies around and is amazingly technically proficient. They could use some people who contrast with that. Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe are amazing, but they don't stand out as much because ultimately they generally wrestle the same style as others. Braun and the Authors are so fun because they bring something different to the table.

5. THE COMPANY'S NAME IS WHAT HE SAYS IT IS PAL!!! HE'S VINCE MCMAHON!!!

6. He's focusing on backstage duties. I'm sure we'll see him back on-screen at some point, but Impact is largely focusing on younger, fresher talents.

More wrestling tomorrow.
