NXT live event notes, WCW name passes, SDL matches, Cody booked as NWA Champion, and Questions on Ronda struggling vs. Stephanie, Raw's tag division, the forgotten Divas Championship, Ronda in intergender matches, and why Alexa is facing Trish

NXT's Rinku Singh and Jeet Rama returned to the ring for the first time since August this weekend in Florida. Singh defeated Kona Reeves while Rama lost to Brennan Williams. If Reeves' push has already peaked, that doesn't really bode well for him. He's been in NXT three years, after all.

Former WCW star Frank Andersson passed away at 62 due to complications from heart surgery. He was largely over for his work in Europe.

Added to Smackdown Live:
- Andrade "Cien" Almas vs. R-Truth
- Brie Bella vs. Maryse in a rematch from a 2010 Raw

Cody will work the September 16 Championship Wrestling From Hollywood taping as NWA World Champion. I'm interested to see how his reign goes, and what it will mean for the NWA.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. About the only answer I have is WWE didn't want a WrestleMania match to be that short. So, yes, in essence they consider Stephanie tougher than they considered Daniel Bryan against Sheamus.

2. I'm also a fan of The B-Team and The Revival, and wish they weren't pushed aside so soon, but I see why WWE put the title on Dolph and Drew to elevate things.

3. WWE's pretty Orwellian as far as presenting their history/ignoring certain things. It's more forgivable when the whole show is presented as a work.

4. Ronda destroying Mike Kanellis or something is one thing, but they really shouldn't put themselves in a position to show male-on-female violence. It's uncomfortable for a lot of people to watch, and not in the "heel getting heat" way. WWE wants to be family-friendly, and this falls in line with that.

5. They have an opportunity to put Alexa on the map if she can beat Trish. We've seen Trish and Lita face off quite a bit, and it wouldn't do anything for any current member of the roster to have them compete. Even Mickie beating Lita won't mean much since Mickie's already essentially set for life from her previous run.

More wrestling tomorrow.
