ROH Roku channel launches, WWE promotes PROGRESS, Cena book coming, Cody on last name, Interviews with Hangman/IIconics, NBA names on WWE finishers, Turner diagnosed with dementia, Impact audience, Batista returning to WWE, more WWE trademarks, 3MB reuniting, MYC preview, SSD going long, Braun in mainstream movie, top WWE exec sells stock, NWA title rematch raises stakes, and Questions on Raw guest hosts, who's in charge of Evolution, the future of BTE, and podcasts

ROH's Roku channel debuted in time for Death Before Dishonor. I'm curious how much of a boost that will see for PPV buys.

WWE promoted a PROGRESS event this weekend featuring NXT/NXT UK talent Tyler Bate, Jinny, Toni Storm, Flash Morgan Webster, Zack Gibson, James Drake, Trent Seven, Pete Dunne, Matt Riddle, and Mark Andrews. PROGRESS is essentially UK EVOLVE at this point as far as WWE putting them over every so often.

John Cena's "Elbow Grease" children's book is due out October 9.

Cody discussed using the Rhodes last name. As he did not use the Rhodes ring name pre-WWE, there was doubt over whether he could take it elsewhere. Dusty, Dustin, and Brandi didn't have this problem because they either used the name before WWE or after leaving.

Hangman Page talked before Death Before Dishonor. There's definitely an opportunity to further put non-WWE wrestling on the map in the U.S. if the Bullet Club and friends can keep riding the current wave.

The IIconics talked about their friendship and more. Certainly Evolution would be an ideal place to debut a women's tag title, if not one for each brand.

Some NBA names discussed their favorite finishers. That's pretty cool.

Ted Turner has been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. That's awful to hear.

Impact Wrestling drew 222,000 viewers Thursday, basically identical to last week.

Batista will be on Smackdown 1000 along the other members of Evolution, his first WWE appearance in four years. That'd be a great time to set up a final run!

WWE has trademarked Saturday Night's Main Event, WCW Thunder, and WCW Saturday Night.

"Table for 3" after Raw will feature 3MB. It's amazing how successful Jinder and Drew became after a gimmick you'd think would keep them at Slater's level.

Mae Young Classic this week will feature:
- Toni Storm vs. Hiroyo Matsumoto
- Rhea Ripley vs. Kacy Catanzaro
- Taynara Conti vs. Lavey Lane
- Mercedes Martinez vs. Meiko Satomura

Super Show Down is set to go five hours. So it's definitely a major event for WWE.

Braun Strowman will be in "Holmes & Watson" featuring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. That's a perfect role for him.

WWE Co-President George A. Barrios sold 50,000 shares of company stock. He's still a major stockholder for WWE.

Cody vs. Nick Aldis at NWA's 70th anniversary event will be two-out-of-three falls, a throwback to how the championship used to be defended.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That's the only name who comes to mind. A lot of names were willing to come on to promote something.

2. Tough to top Bob Barker, but The Muppets were a lot of fun, as well. I also enjoyed Freddie Prinze, Jr., Cheech & Chong, David Hasselhoff, the cast of MacGruber, David Arquette, Pee-Wee Herman, Florence Henderson, and Hugh Jackman.

3. There's a chance Vince lets HHH and Stephanie run the event, since they pushed for it. Vince ALWAYS has the final say, but he's let them do more and more for their projects.

4. I don't see it stopping unless they go to WWE, who would likely want to either do their own version of it or drop it completely.

5. That happens every so often.

More wrestling tomorrow.
