Main Event Reax - 9/8/18, new Network content, MYC lineup, Foley's standup show debut set, Rock grants MAW wish, SDL match set, former ECW Champion arrested, NXT+SDL live event notes, Neidhart honored, and Questions on WWE's reaction to Y2J and Jarrett at All In, how WWE will spend their new TV money, and HBK back in the ring

-- Main Event:
- Breeze vs. Kanellis:
So-so start.

This is improving after a slow start.

Not much to write home about.

- Mojo vs. Zack:
Good action so far.

Not bad!

A new "Story Time" will debut after Raw, including Jake Roberts, Paul Heyman, and Chris Jericho.

WWE Marquee Matches Tuesday will feature John Cena vs. C.M. Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio inside Hell In A Cell from 2011.

- Thursday's episode will feature Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens inside Hell In A Cell from 2016.

- Friday's episode will feature New Day vs. The Usos inside Hell In A Cell from 2017.

This week's MYC will feature:
- Deonna Purrazzo vs. Priscilla Kelly
- Ariel Monroe vs. Zeuxis
- Kacy Catanzaro vs. Reina Gonzalez
- Ashley Rayne vs. Mercedes Martinez

Mick Foley's WWE Network special will follow the Hell In A Cell event Sunday.

The Rock granted a Make A Wish wish on the set of "Jungle Cruise."

Charlotte Flair vs. Sonya Deville is official for Smackdown Live. I think we know how that one's going to go. I hope Sonya can make it long-term. She's solid.

Justin Credible was recently arrested for violating the protective order his wife filed against him for a second time. It's been a rocky road for the former ECW Champion lately. I hope things turn around soon.

Tyler Breeze worked another NXT live event on September 8, losing to Ricochet in a North American Championship match in Ohio.

Harper worked a singles match on a Smackdown Live event on September 8, losing to Karl Anderson in Texas. I hope something good is headed his way after all the work put into the Bludgeon Brothers.

The Smashing Pumpkins honored Jim Neidhart at a concert in Alberta.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Jericho's at a place where WWE needs him more than he needs WWE. He's shown he can be successful outside of their bubble, whether that's Fozzy or NJPW. He's willing to risk not being able to go back to WWE in order to change the wrestling landscape. And, really, if anyone can talk his way back into WWE after all this, it's Jericho. As for WWE, I expect they're going to make him a good pitch to work for them WrestleMania weekend instead of appearing at G1 Supercard, which again works in Jericho's favor.

2. WWE doesn't see Jarrett as as big of a priority as Jericho. They know, based on how GFW/GFE has gone so far, he's not going to be able to draw big crowds outside of WWE like Jericho can. So, they're less worried about what he's doing. As for why he appeared at All In, it was at Aldis' request because of what Jarrett has done for Aldis' career.

3. As alluded to, they're not just going to write a bunch of big checks to talents as soon as the deals kick in, but certainly current and upcoming talents are going to be able to ask for more money and WWE is going to be more willing to spend more on talent, etc. I fully expect more international focus in talent development and recruitment in the years to come as a result of the TV deals as a result. So,
Triple H will have an even bigger blank check for his pet projects.

4. I fully expect him to be ready for late 2018/early 2019. Heck, I wouldn't rule out him working more than once in that time period as stadium shows loom on the horizon.

5. If they had, it would call into question Johnson's independence as a journalist.

More wrestling tomorrow.
