Dynamite Reax - 10/30/19

Read on for my thoughts on last night's Dynamite.
- Opening:
Damn you know AEW's got some money behind it when people are coming in planes and limos. Not bad for the grandsons of a plumber.

- Moxley/Khan:
Hey remember when Khan wasn't going to be an authority figure?

Now this will be big.

- Page vs. Sammy:
I liked Sammy's entrance.

This is nice so far.

It's good to see fresh names wrestling on TV. I'm impressed with Sammy.

Both men are doing well here.

Solid work overall.

- Post-match:
Good for Page to get some momentum.

- Shida vs. Shanna:
Nice physicality!

This is solid.

OK I really like Shida.

Solid work.

- Brandi/Kong video:
Yeah Riho better hold that title close.

- RnR/Ortiz/Santana/Bucks:
Good old school angle.

NICEEEEEEEEEEEE. RnR take a beating.

- Cody segment:
Interesting.

- Rick and Morty entrance:
Well that was different!

Yeah this is Crown Jewel for Adult Swim instead of the Saudis.

I did like OC here.

- Signing:
Yeah Cody looks like the heel in this one.

Imagine trying this hard to be a heel in 2019.

Nice beatdown angle.

Man if they replaced Jericho with someone ten years younger this would be a pretty good group.

- Omega entrance:
Now that was cool as hell.

- Omega/Bucks vs. Hybrid2/Kip:
At least one team is taking this seriously.

Impressive athleticism, as expected.

Hey Omega and the Bucks are the EVPs so if they want to indulge themselves with cutesy stuff, who's going to stop them? This company's selling a lot more tickets than Impact, ROH, MLW, etc., so they can justify it.

Aaaaaaaand here's your big moves showcase.

I liked Kip trying Omega's move.

VINTAGE Omega and the Bucks. Eleventy thousand stars.

- Post-match:
Yeah the Bucks are being suckered in here.

- Librarians/Moxley:
Again, if WWE did this gimmick, fans would say it was the worst thing ever. If AEW did Shorty G, fans would praise it.

Thank God. Maybe that's the end of Peter and Leva.

"Every match will count" sure didn't last long.

- Bros vs. Kazarian/Sky:
I like the intensity. This match clearly matters.

This is pretty solid.

Lots of complicated offense as usual. This probably should've been spaced further from the six-man tag.

I did really like the Angel's Wings. Nice touch.

Pretty solid tag work here. Everyone's working hard.

I like the counters and reversals.

"Sports like competition" but slamming someone through a table isn't a DQ.

Wow. Cool ending.
