Interviews with Foley/HHH/Severn, the draft continues, EVOLVE results, more on Hardy situation, and Questions on AEW running much larger venues than NXT, WWE hiring models, Edge returning to the ring, what WWE can do for Jeff Hardy, and Vince changing NXT

Mick Foley spoke to TMZ Sports about his partially-missing ear.

Triple H spoke to FOX about the Pedigree being his finisher.

WWE.com announced more draft picks from the first night's pool. These are covered in the main 2019 draft post.

At EVOLVE 137 Friday in Georgia:
- NXT's Arturo Ruas defeated JD Drake
- NXT's Babatunde fought to a no contest with Eddie Kingston
- NXT signing Shotzi Blackheart retained the Shine Nova Championship against Aja Perera.
- NXT's Cameron Grimes defeated Curt Stallion
- NXT's Kassius Ohno lost to Josh Briggs in a Lights Out match
- NXT signing Austin Theory retained the EVOLVE Championship against AR Fox.

Dan Severn discussed a number of wrestling and MMA topics.

Matt Hardy further commented on his brother's situation. Their respective spouses also tweeted about the subject, including profanity from Reby. It's very sad to see the family feuding like this. I really wish them the best.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Honestly I do think it matters that AEW is running significantly larger venues. Of course, any product running the same town over and over is going to have some difficulties there, too. I hope they do run decent-sized venues on the road as the product continues to grow.

2. I had to track down this reference, which is in relationship to perceived attractiveness. Basically what happened was Triple H replacing John Laurinaitis as head of talent relations. Laurinaitis was looking for models who could learn to wrestle decently enough to fill some time between men's matches. Triple H is looking for hard working wrestlers.

3. Of course it largely depends on how much he's cleared to do. He definitely doesn't "need" to add to his Hall of Fame career, but if he gets some good opportunities to add to his legacy and do meaningful things, it's worth looking into. A lot of it's going to be up to WWE Medical either way.

4. I'm under the impression Jeff is still recovering from injury, so I don't know if WWE will release him while that's still in play. I believe Jeff's contract is up around the time of WrestleMania, so if WWE doesn't add time on for the time he's been recovering (which is their decision), they could just let it expire. Of course, the problem with that is the potential for him to sign elsewhere, even in his current state. So right now WWE's hoping he can work things out and return healthy to complete his deal.

5. If I'm Vince and my show's losing as definitively as NXT is, I'm absolutely looking into why that is and what needs to be done differently.

More wrestling tomorrow.
