Read on for my thoughts on last night's Friday Night Smackdown.

- Becky/Strahan:
OK that was all cool.
- Seth/Booker:
I loved the grocery store fight. The 24/7 Title needs to be defended there.
- Kofi interview:
He has a big opportunity to put himself on the map in the Brock match.
- Heyman interview:
This man always delivers on the mic. Every Brock match feels meaningful.
-- FNSD:
- Vince/Stephanie/Becky/Corbin:
Not really a shock things start with the McMahons.
Ooooh Becky vs. Corbin incoming?
Wow they didn't waste time getting Rock here, huh?
God Rock's shtick is so corny.
Ooohhh not what I wanted to see to start a new era.
This is SO bad holy shit.
Yeah not feeling that.
- Becky/Charlotte vs. Sasha/Bayley:
Unsurprisingly all these names have chemistry.
I like this work.
Pretty fun. Looks like we're in for another Charlotte/Bayley match.
- Kofi interview:
Man it would suck if this is the end of Kofi's run. They have a chance to make someone under 40 matter in the eyes of the fans.
- Fun House:
This is got to be bizarre for new viewers. I mean, not that it's not bizarre for current viewers, too.
This is a blast. I wish more characters were this engaging.
- Hogan in the crowd:
People tuning in to see the legends are going to be disappointed at how they're used. I definitely didn't want to see them all over every segment, though.
- Seth vs. Shinsuke:
Nice work here.
They have an opportunity to do something really special at HIAC.
- Owens vs. Shane:
Yeah this show needs some in-ring action.
I like this.
I wonder how many people who watched Shane do this kind of thing in the first few years of Smackdown tuned back in to think nothing has changed since then.
Damn. Shane looks credible in this one.
That was pretty badass. Shane takes a hell of a bump.
- Post-match:
Looks like that's the end of that!
- Heyman interview:
Another great sell for a dominant character.
- Braun/Miz/HM vs. Orton/AJ/Dolph/Roode:
Yeah this is an interesting addition.
Well Christ that was pretty quick.
And here's the next celebrity feud.
- Post-match:
Well that will definitely be a meaningful clash.
- 24/7 Title changes:
What in the literal fuck did I just watch.
Yeah this was awful.
- Roman vs. Rowan:
Yeah pretty standard lumberjack spots.
Weird to have them fight outside of the ring so much given the match gimmick. I guess they wanted a lot of people to technically have an appearance on the show.
Harper and Bryan getting involved was fun.
That was pretty cool and chaotic.
- Post-match:
This could be an interesting team.
- Brock vs. Kofi:
Goddamn. RIP Kofi.
- Post-match:
WHOAAAAAAAAAAAA business has picked up.
We MMA now.
This was badass, but I can't help but think it was short-sighted to focus on two "special attractions" at Kofi's expense.
