Melina posts anti-Gail video, Questions on why PPVs end early, the Sin Cara trademark, Warrior-Hogan, a Raw pre-show, and Moolah's title reigns, All Wheels Wrestling teams announced, Sting talks Hogan, Hardy, Russo, WWE and more, Bryan talks vegan lifestyle, CNN looks at collecting WWE figures, Sheamus interview, Alicia Fox profiled, WWE ratings in Mexico and Australia, more on Hepatitis C in wrestling, Lethal talks TNA and Black Machismo, special Impact Wrestling next week, WWE doing a Montreal Screwjob DVD with HBK and Hart, and TNA unable to get some UWF talents

Melina posted this video on YouTube to continue the feud she's having with Gail Kim on Superstars. The fact that she had to explain that it was in-character should tell you how much people (myself included) can misinterpret things sometimes. The internet seems to have made the problem worse.

On to my take on today's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I had wondered that myself. That's actually a pretty sound reason. Of course, the natural instinct for a number of people is to assume it's because the company is "ripping them off" or something.

2. Another thing I had wondered. Man, EMLL just had two of its biggest stars walk out this year to jump to WWE. That's not a good sign. Are they Mexico's WCW?

After the break, I look at the recent video by the Ultimate Warrior, and the rest of the day's answers and news.
3. Hogan's definitely not ok with it, and as far as I know is still thinking of pursuing legal action. I REALLY doubt it's going to lead to them doing business together in a match. Warrior officially retired in 2008. It definitely took some guts to make that video. I don't know enough about the personal lives of either man to say who's "right" or "wrong" here. I tend to stay out of those kinds of stories (which are difficult to find credible sources commenting on), so I haven't really seen anything about the allegations one way or another.

4. Imagine if they did that for a 3-hour Raw! Talk about burnout. They do things like that for PPVs (as does TNA), but I think doing it every week would be monotonous. It's a good concept, but I think that kind of thing is better used as they do it now: between matches and angles and when they run down PPV cards. Given the ratings (or lack thereof) for NXT and Superstars, which do throwbacks to Raw and Smackdown AND have matches, I think people would rather see the action continuing than people talking about the angles continuing later. I also haven't seen anything to suggest they're considering the idea.

5. While most fans these days knew Moolah as an old lady doing comedy sketches, she apparently was rather tough back in her day and controlled a lot of women's wrestling then.

TNA's All Wheels Wrestling has announced the four teams that the company's wrestlers will be split into. Each team will be competing for points, and the winners will get the Championship Cup. I'm not really getting how this connects to racing other than the Cup, names and "inspirations". It looks like they're doing a team each of "big guys", Cruiserweights/X-Divisioners, All-American faces, and international heels. Sounds easy enough to follow. But here's the thing: what if a wrestler is an international X-Divisioner or an American big guy? I guess the latter 2 teams are for people who don't easily fit into the category of big heavyweight or smaller, speedy guy. I'm pretty curious about this one. I wonder if non-wrestling fan racing enthusiasts will get into it, and to some degree ditto for non-racing fan wrestling enthusiasts.

Sting did an interview with the Baltimore Sun on his faith, a recent movie of his, and a number of wrestling subjects (including Victory Road 2011, the angle with Hogan, Vince Russo, and the possibility of going to WWE). Sting sounds like a class act. And yes, every single year he's been in TNA there was talk that it'd be the last year. And every single year he's eventually re-signed (though he's had negotiations with WWE when his contract was up each time).

Daniel Bryan discussed his choice to go vegan with peta2. I'm glad that's working out for him. Not everyone would be able to make that dietary switch.

CNN has an article on collecting WWE action figures.

Sheamus had a nice little interview promoting an upcoming Smackdown taping.

BET has a brief story on Alicia Fox.

In Mexico, Raw pulled in an 8.4 while Smackdown got an 8.1. The national promotions are pulling in a 2.3 (CMLL) and 3.1 (AAA) respectively, so it's safe to say that the audience there is liking what they're seeing from WWE. It's also not surprising that a number of Mexican wrestlers want to jump ship!

Raw was the only wrestling show to crack the top 100 in Australia with 22,000 viewers.

Here's Part 2 of the documentary looking at Hepatitis C in wrestling. Part 1 came out around the time of Abdullah The Butcher's Hall of Fame induction. Presumably (hopefully) WWE would test for Hepatitis C before hiring a wrestler? I know they didn't want "Cowboy" Bob Orton (Randy's father) around after finding out that he had it. Blading is indeed a shortcut/"cheap way" to get a reaction that isn't 100% necessary to have a good match. Blood every once in a while can add to a feud, but it needs to be done rarely and carefully.

Jay Lethal has said in a recent interview that the decision to leave TNA was a mutual one and that politics weren't involved. He will now retire the Black Machismo character following the passing of Randy Savage. Savage was a fan of the character.

Next week's edition of Impact Wrestling will have limited commercial breaks as part of a sponsorship with Five Hour Energy. The following has been announced for the show:
Sting coming face to face with Hulk Hogan
Samoa Joe vs. Devon (Bound For Glory Series match, TNA has dropped the "Brother" part of Devon's name)
AJ Styles vs. Gunner (Bound For Glory Series match)
Mickie James, Miss Tessmacher, and Tara vs. Angelina Love, Winter, and Madison Rayne in an elimination match
A triple threat match featuring 3 former X-Divison wrestlers TBA

Sounds like a pretty interesting show on paper, or screen as it were.

Finally, TNA was unable to book any talents from the Urban Wrestling Federation for Destination X or All Wheels Wrestling due to them signing exclusive contracts with the promotion for the remainder of 2011. X-Division alumni Homicide and Sonjay Dutt were both part of UWF First Blood.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
