Money In The Bank poster, more on "controversial" DVD, Questions on the Montreal Screwjob, PPV cards, interference for heels, SHIMMER vs. DGUSA and HHH's next opponent, Tough Enough's AJ talks, WWE at E3, JR in a piece about the NBA, more on TNA's fantasy game, Low Ki/Kaval interview, Lesnar update, Raw and Tough Enough ratings, WWE postpones 2 house shows, MVP talks Savage and more, more from Warrior, Punk contract update, A-Ri's brand, more on TNA's rebranding, and more on Averno-WWE

Here's the poster for Money In The Bank. Keep in mind that Morrison being on it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be in the actual match.

And here's the official press release for "Wrestling's Most Controversial Moment". Fantastic idea. I look forward to seeing it and the rest in the series.

PWInsider.com has some more questions to dissect:
1. It's a pretty unanimous opinion that the Montreal Screwjob was legitimate.

2. I think both companies can indeed do a better job of that. Maybe they think that adding some extra stuff at close to the last minute will sway people? I'm not sure. They definitely need to mention the PPV cards and stuff more.

More answers and news after the break, starting with one on heels not winning cleanly.

3. I agree that if used too often, or if it's made to look like the heel is in way over his head, interference can make someone look weak. I think to some degree some people wouldn't buy Miz being able to be able to beat the strongly booked Cena without cheating. That can be fixed over time, of course, but Cena's much higher on the totem pole than the relative main event newcomer Miz. One reason interference is done so much is because of the story it makes: "If it wasn't for so-and-so, Cena would have beat him!" "He got away again?" etc. and then they can book the no-DQ rematch or so-and-so banned from ringside, or a cage match or whatever. I know for those who have followed wrestling for years, that gets repetitive, but they're trying to make money and that's one way to do so.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't like a strong heel to take Cena or Orton out for a while, then he have to fight back from injury to defeat them. I think the main thing keeping them from doing something like that is that they don't want to take Cena off the show or have him not wrestle. That's a guess, though. Imagine if they would have had Nexus take Cena out and Barrett win the title off a not 100% champion. Cena's somewhat safe because he didn't lose at full strength, and it gets heat on Nexus for taking out a fan favorite. But again, they probably would want Cena to appear a lot and so in, so it wouldn't have the same effect.

As for their answer, I continue to maintain that only part of the audience cares if the story is "predictable" and "expected". For another example, look at the Transformers movies. Were they cinematic masterpieces? Far from it. Was it pretty obvious that the good guys were going to win in the end? Absolutely. But despite that, they were huge financial successes. I want good movies with fresh stories, too, but I can't blame them for going for something that's going to make them more money.

4. I'm not too familiar with either, but if I had to choose I might go with SHIMMER. If they could get women into wrestling by promoting their competitors as more than pretty faces, etc., I think they could do well. From what I've heard about DGUSA, and I could be wrong on this, they're more focused on having good matches than good stories, and I'd be pretty surprised if that ever worked for a major promotion.

5. Undertaker's pretty much the best guess I can come up with. I certainly don't want to see him destroy New Nexus.

AJ from Tough Enough spoke about the show and his future. I think a number of contestants should get a look as far as a deal in FCW.

Alberto Del Rio, Kelly Kelly, and The Miz will be at E3 as WWE '12 as shown off. It will be playable in demo form.

Update: here's a press release about the game.

Jim Ross was quoted in a piece about Lebron James' recent NBA decisions.

TNA has more details on its fantasy game.

Former WWE Creative team member Dave Lagana has an interview with NXT Season 2 winner Kaval (also known as Low-Ki) about a multitude of topics.

Brock Lesnar will need 6-8 weeks recovery time from his surgery, and is postponing his book tour as a result.

Raw did a somewhat disappointing 3.1 on Monday night. The Tough Enough episode before it did a 1.74, and the replay after Raw did a .78. It's possible that some people just wanted to catch it at a different time or night, because other replays are doing fairly well.

WWE has moved Saturday's WV house show to 9/4/11. Sunday's house show was moved to 9/16/11. Tickets purchased will be honored for the later shows and refunds will be available, as is standard practice for this sort of thing.

MVP, with his new hairstyle, has some new videos up, talking about Randy Savage among other things.

The Hogan/Warrior saga continues as Warrior has a new video. He's setting up an interview to respond to Hogan as well.

C.M. Punk is presently only scheduled for TV appearances and PPVs starting 7/6/11. It's very possible that he'll be leaving the company in July, which is a bummer. Hopefully it's just a temporary leave if that does happen.

Alex Riley is being listed for Smackdown's TV shows, but Raw's live events. That's kind of peculiar. I figured it's be the other way around. We'll see where they go with him from here.

TNA's live events are now being referred to as part of the "Impact Wrestling World Tour". There are still sites and PPVs listed under the TNA name, so if they are planning a full switch to that name, it's not happened yet.

While Averno is denying that he's signed to WWE in interviews, his father has confirmed that he'll be heading there. He wishes to lose his mask in a match in Mexico before going to the company. What his name will be in WWE is presently unknown.

That's all for Wednesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
