WWE renews deal with Eurovision, JR surgery update, TNA stars working with Puerto Rican promotion, Questions on Angelina Love, the Divas' division, TNA's 6-sided ring, and Layla's injury, DiBiase talks buying the title, Sheamus and Christian talk Smackdown in Hershey, new future wrestling book,Cena talks GLAAD controversy, final members of Bound For Glory Series, Riley talks Capitol Punishment, Hogan calls truce with Warrior, cover for new Orton DVD and ROH stars get a WWE tryoutalls truce,

WWE has signed a new deal with Eurovision to distribute its content (where else?) in Europe for an additional two years. The company will broadcast "This Week In WWE" (a recap of Raw, NXT, Superstars, and Smackdown) and "WWE Vintage Collection" (showcase of classic content) on the continent.

Jim Ross updated his post-surgery status on Twitter.

Carlos Colon's WWC promotion will feature Abyss, Mickie James, and Sarita for its big Anniversary show.

PWInsider.com has some more questions up. Here's my take on them:
1. Come to think of it, how's she going to "break out of it"? She's apparently been drugged/brainwashed to the point where she doesn't even need the pills to be under Winter's influence. I guess she could go to detox/rehab/psychological counseling for a while. That's my choice. When she does come back and speak, she'll be understandably ticked off at Winter. Unless, of course, we get a swerve and she's mad at whoever took her out of that situation. Either way, it should be interesting.

2. I really hope so. They've got some real talent there, both established and up-and-coming. I don't necessarily think we're in for a rebirth of the division, but if WWE plays their cards right, the Divas can be a real asset beyond their looks. I'd like to see Naomi get a shot in the division in due time as well.

I look at the rest of the day's questions and news after the break, starting with TNA bringing back the 6-sided ring full-time.

3. I think Destination X will be very interesting for the company. If it does really good business, they just might go back to featuring it and the X-Division. If it does about the same as their regular PPVs, I don't see much of a reason to.

4. Of course there was a reason behind it. They didn't just pick names out of a hat or something. The story was that they lost the first week, and were trying to win the second one. Natalya's "training" them. Next AJ (who's apparently just going by that name) beat Tamina to continue the program and it's almost certainly continuing from there. I think both AJ and Kaitlyn will be able to get over with the WWE audience if they continue to feature them, and not just because I'm personally fans of their antics.

5. That's the first I've heard of a timetable. Sheesh. Nine months. It's REALLY time to build up the Divas' division. Veterans and newcomers; Raw and Smackdown.

WWE author Kevin Sullivan has another excerpt from his WWE Championship book, in which Ted DiBiase, Sr. talks about "buying" said title from Andre The Giant in one of the most famous angles in the history of wrestling. Pretty interesting stuff.

Sheamus will be on the WTPA 93.5 Morning Show with Chris and Amy on 6/21 to hype that evening's Smackdown taping in Hershey, PA.

Christian did an interview promoting the same taping. It was a weird mix of kayfabe and legitimate comments.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is working on a book on his storied career. The library's going to need its own wrestling section at this rate.

John Cena addressed the controversy about some of his remarks made against The Rock being anti-homosexual to a prominent gay news site. I think I'll keep my thoughts out of this topic. Discussions on it get pretty heated.

Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, and D'Angelo Dinero are the final members of TNA's Bound For Glory Series, which was explained on Impact Wrestling.

Alex Riley was interviewed by a local newspaper on Sunday's PPV, as it's pretty close to his hometown. That event could be huge for him.

Hulk Hogan has posted a short video response deflecting Warrior's recent statements. The sooner this feud ends, the sooner I can go back to talking about more important things: who's doing well in WWE/TNA and who isn't; which storylines and characters I like and which I don't, etc..

Here's the cover art for an upcoming Randy Orton DVD. Pretty cool actually.

Notable Ring of Honor performers Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli worked with WWE officials before both Raw and Smackdown this week. It is presently unknown what future, if any, there is for them in the
company.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
