Miz interview, Questions on whether Kane and Christian are top stars, Ed "The Strangler" Lewis, Mania in Denver, bullying in WWE, dream Diva match, and going off script in the Rumble, Punk talks WWE departure, Tough Enough also-rans talk, Wrestling Revolution update, Hall sentenced to jail, Hardy's "outside issues" get him suspended from TNA, technical difficulties for Raw voting, director of "Beyond The Mat" talks, WWE talents at Comic-Con, matches made for next week's Raw, and an indy promotion makes offer for NFL players to join wrestling

The Miz was featured on a morning show in Baltimore to promote the Raw taping Monday night.

New PWInsider.com questions are up. Here's my take on them:
1. Kane's in an interesting position in his career. Given his past success, credibility, and size, he can easily be built back up into a main eventer if they need him to be there, but it seems like they'd rather have him take more of a backseat to some of the newer, fresher faces. For fans who don't remember his top runs in years past, he probably doesn't seem as much of a big deal compared to those of us who've seen him for years and years. He's earned a nice spot on the show based on the credibility he does have, but I see him (along with Big Show and a few others) as part of the old guard that's best used to work with some of the up-and-comers. As for Christian, I'd definitely say he's around that top star status on Smackdown, but the waters are somewhat murky after his heel turn. It is weird that they don't have much merchandise of him (though he did just get a new t-shirt). I think to some degree they see him as part of that class of older (as far as TV time goes) guys, too.

2. I'm not good at rankings. Most wrestlers have so much variation from each other (even among similar styles) that I usually pass on those questions and just say "I like them all, just in different ways". I'd definitely put him in the Hall of Fame though.

3. I have no idea. I don't think I've ever heard it brought up as a possibility. As for the bullying thing, they were trying to make the Bella Twins look bad by saying those things. Because they're (playing) bad people. That's why. If anything, that brings the point home more. "See these bad people bullying her? How dare they?" As for when they do it to Vickie Guerrero, that's a different story. In their minds, it's ok for it to be done to a bad character. I'm not crazy about that decision, either.

After the break, I look at the rest of the day's answers and news, starting with who I'd pick for a 10-15 minute Diva match at WrestleMania if I could have any two Divas in their primes.

4. I'm split between Trish vs. Lita and Trish vs. Victoria (TNA's Tara). I give the latter somewhat of an edge.

5. This is assuming that Del Rio would be surprised enough by this for him to do it. They'd probably come out and make up some reason that the match had to continue or the decision was reversed or something. Santino would almost certainly be fired. There's no way they'd let someone that unprofessional headline Mania.

C.M. Punk commented on his decision to leave WWE on his Twitter account. Fans have noted the similarities between those comments and some he made when starting the "Summer of Punk" angle in Ring of Honor. It would be amazing if they recreate that.

Tough Enough's Luke Robinson discussed the show and his future recently. I wouldn't rule out a future run in WWE from him.

Also from Tough Enough, Eric Watts was profiled by a different source. I'm somewhat less sure about his chances, but you never know.

Remember the pitch for a 10-episode online season focusing on wrestlers? It's been officially funded. More details on Katz' Twitter.

Scott Hall has been sentenced to jail time following a drunken incident from May 2010. He'll only serve 2 days in a medical unit due to time already served. Hopefully this is the last time a situation like this happens.

Matt Hardy was suspended from the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings due to his tendency to be late to events, in addition to members of TNA management being upset with the recent stun gun video. He's expected to be kept out of the next set of tapings as well. I'm sure there are plenty of people in TNA who would appreciate taking the TV time he won't be getting now.

WWE has announced that there were technical errors for Raw's voting Monday night, which explains some of those oddball choices! They should have known there would be a lot of votes. The matches that were affected were Mason Ryan vs. Evan Bourne (Sin Cara was the actual fans' pick), and Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Knigston (which should have had Vickie banned from ringside). For the main event, they decided to use results from their WWE.com live chat poll.

Update: Bourne vs. Sin Cara will take place on next week's Raw. That will either be amazing or a mess.

Update: It's also possible that they'll do rematches for the other matches affected. That's a nice gesture as well.

The director of the famed Beyond The Mat spoke recently. Good insight into the film.

WWE has announced which talents will be appearing at next month's San Diego Comic-Con. I'm sure Cody Rhodes is excited that he gets to be there. Big time comic fan.

NWA Hollywood is officially offering jobs to NFL players affected by the current lockout. That's actually pretty funny/clever.

That's all for Wednesday's news. Thank goodness I didn't have the same technical problems today. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
