Tough Enough thoughts- 6/6/11

The contestants have gone through everything the trainers have thrown at them, and it's finally down to 2. Andy and Luke have brought their "A" games, and tonight it'll pay off for one of them. After training in FCW, who's getting a WWE contract? Read on for my thoughts on the show as it happens.

Props to Andy for being able to survive the pressure of having a family and still being a top competitor. It might only get harder from here, though.

Hopefully Luke's partying doesn't prove to be his downfall at some point.

Thankfully both men have done some solid training on their "time off" from the show.

You can't get much better of a trainer than Steamboat.

For a full list of FCW alumni, check their website. Not a bad list by any stretch.

It makes sense that they'd face DeMott, seeing as they trained with him and he'd know them fairly well.

Steamboat strikes a good balance between gentle teacher and trainer who wants the best from then.

I wish they'd get Piper Perabo to appear on Raw. She's gorgeous.

They look noticeably different in wrestling attire.

I believe that was Raquel Diaz (Vickie Guerrero's daughter) announcing in FCW.

Haha, they didn't even acknowledge Superstars.

Awesome match montage!

This is a tough one to decide I think.

Duke Nukem Forever's release is the next sign of the apocalypse after the recent Rapture.

I was wondering whose music they'd use when the trainers came out. Booker's was my choice, too. Not to diminish the contributions of Trish and Bill.

Note that there was a good amount of time between the last taped episodes and this show, hence Martin's healed ankle.

Where's Rima? Maybe she had Miss USA duties?

Stone Cold not in a T-shirt? Blasphemy.

Very tough choice, but I think Luke might have it in a close one. I'd like both of them to sign on at some point, though.

Honestly I'd be ok with either of them winning, as long as the other one gets a chance down the line.

Andy just doesn't strike me as having that superstar presence.

Business has just picked up!

They're definitely getting a lot of star presence in this segment.

Maybe these two can feud after this with the loser trying to get a contract in storyline?

Did the cockiness and "partying" outlook cost him? This was a hard one; it had to be somewhat close.

Maybe Vince will "sign" Luke to feud with Stone Cold and Andy?

Well that was weird.

Anyway, that's all for Tough Enough (even though it technically spilled over to Raw). Time for Raw.
