Questions on pushingTamina, Christy Hemme, Brian Kendrick's wife, the Angelina Love storyline, and Desmond Wolfe, DeMott talks autobiography, TNA releases Wolfe, Warrior has new video, Orton concussion update, Riley and R-Truth interviews, Shane McMahon talks leaving WWE, Nancy Benoit-Hustler case update, JR health update, Warrior posts Hogan videos, Impact Wrestling rating and an upcoming anti-Flair book

Here's my take on Friday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I haven't seen that much out of Tamina, as she's only had a few matches that I've seen. She could definitely stand out as a strong Diva, and one who doesn't fit the stereotypical smiling blond role. For the immediate future, since the Bella Twins have the title, I think it'd be better for her to keep using her to build up AJ and Kaitlyn. Once those two (hopefully) become accepted parts of the division, then I wouldn't mind her getting a chance at a bigger role. A feud between she and Natalya would work nicely I think. Two Divas with famous fathers- it's only natural they'd face off.

2. I'm still not really sold on her. I've heard worse (Eden Stiles), but I preferred Jeremy Borash and Dave Penzer. It's not a male/female thing as I liked Lilian Garcia; I just don't really care for Christy's voice.

3. What they said. I don't really see a reason to bring her in beyond who she's married to.

After the break, I look at the rest of the day's questions and news, starting with why TNA's continuing the storyline with Angelina Love.
4. My guess is they wanted to turn Angelina heel without "actually" turning her heel, and liked Winter in that kind of role. I don't necessarily think it made the match a joke. Unrealistic? Mostly. A joke? Not really. They're treating it pretty seriously. To me a joke match is something like what we've seen with Hornswoggle in the past.

5. After what seems like forever of not being there, he recently returned as the commissioner of Xplosion. He's still not medically cleared to wrestle.

Here's an interview discussing Bill DeMott's autobiography. He makes some good points.

Desmond Wolfe has been released from TNA. His injuries and health issues prevented him from going further in the company. Lately, he's been working on a sitcom and doing stand-up. I personally never saw him as the big deal everyone else seemed to. As for going to WWE, they tried to sign him before his TNA run but he failed a physical, so that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Ultimate Warrior posted a new video today thanking his fans and reiterating his reasons for posting anti-Hogan comments.

Randy Orton has taken an Impact test to see if he will be cleared to wrestle Christian on Sunday.

Alex Riley was interviewed by the Miami Herald (since they're hosting next year's WrestleMania). Cool read. The first time I saw Riley (some time in FCW before NXT Season 2), I thought he really had potential. He could really go places if the stars align in his career.

R-Truth also hyped this Sunday's PPV on the Busted Open show. The full thing airs Monday.

Another Riley interview: this time in the Washington City paper.

Shane McMahon discussed leaving WWE for his current job in China with the LA Times. It's still weird thinking of him not being involved with the company, but I hope this works out well for him. And that WWE ends up part of the VOD agreement of course.

Here's the latest on a case Hustler magazine is facing in regards to posting photos of Nancy Benoit in 2008. The further my mind gets from the aftermath of that dark day in wrestling history, the better.

Warrior has posted an 8-part video series addressing his issues with Hulk Hogan (who he refers to as his real name of Terry). Lots of big allegations and statements. There's not much for me to say on their heat as I wasn't watching the product until the late '90s. I do know that WWE had a DVD that didn't paint Warrior positively in the least.

Impact Wrestling pulled in a 1.25 on Thursday night. Note that they weren't going up against the NBA Finals as they were in previous weeks. Considering what TNA's done some changes to the product recently (new World Champion, featuring the X-Division, pushing Gunner), it will be interesting to see where the ratings go in the weeks and months to come.

The owner of Highspots.com is putting together a book about the dealings he's had with Ric Flair. The working title is "Memoirs of a Money Mark", so you can imagine it won't feature the former World Champion in a positive light. There hasn't been any update in their legal issues. Flair has until 6/27 to adhere to the settlement agreement or he will face 90 days of incarceration.

That's all for Friday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thank you for reading!
