Edge talks HoF, Hogan talks Nash-Warrior, pre-Raw dark match featuring former ROH Tag Team Champion, Questions on the Dynamic Dudes, Cena in the Chamber, changing WWE, Lesnar, win-loss records, HoF note, Cena-Fruity Pebbles promotion, Orton update, Angle talks TNA Creative, top Genesis re-matches on Impact Wrestling, more UK TNA tapings, the Raw rating and WWE drops a PPV

Edge talked about his upcoming Hall of Fame induction. Christian inducting him is pretty much mandatory. A lot of WWE personnel are said to be pleased that he's getting the honor. They're not alone!

Hulk Hogan has tweeted more about Kevin Nash and Warrior. Yep, just about time for this story to die. I think I might be done covering this one if there's nothing significant added to it soon.

Antonio Cesaro worked the dark match before Raw, losing to Alex Riley. They're really going to need to do some roster shuffling if they're going to be bringing some more people up from FCW. Hopefully when the WWE Network launches (currently scheduled for the Fall), time will be found for everyone. The months between now and then are going to be hectic I think as far as that goes.

On to my look at PWInisder.com's questions:
1. Yeah, I don't think there's a reason to, either. If they were really building to a big Punk/Laurinaitis clash (which I certainly hope isn't the case) I could see why they would, but I think there's already enough TV time not being used for active wrestlers as it is.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and questions. Next up, will John Cena be in the Elimination Chamber in February?

2. He certainly doesn't need to be in the match, since his feud with The Rock has nothing to do with the WWE Title. I do think he'll be on the card to build to Mania, though. I can see them going either way on putting him in the Chamber match itself.

3. I'm also going to take a broad approach to this one. WrestleMania is just one step on the road to improving the product in my eyes. If anything, the real work would begin after Mania since they've already put some things in place for then. A lot of the main event plans would depend on Brock Lesnar and other non-regular characters, and what they'd be doing. Anyway, some basics: Triple H would lose to The Undertaker in a retirement match and go to work behind the scenes full-time. He can still be COO (he's just retiring as a wrestler). Where to go with Taker from there depends on his condition, but he definitely wouldn't be the top guy showing up every so often yet still being one of the most powerful, important people on the show. He's a deserving legend and still a draw and all of that, but that approach undermines the regular performers. Pretty much everyone who's in the company who isn't a regular performer and isn't likely to become one any time soon (announcers, GMs,  part-timers like Regal, Nash, and Goldust etc.) would be used to enhance the current and future stars of the company. They shouldn't be the focus of the show by any stretch. Anyone whose career is winding down and is largely over with the audience because of their past accomplishments (Kane, Henry, Show, etc) would be portrayed as part of the "old guard". They've still "got it" to some degree, but like every other sport, the message is sent that being close to or over 40 is a big disadvantage when working with the younger, fresher generation. Mania would partially factor in that, with Punk going over Jericho, Sheamus winning the World Title in a hard fought battle with either Daniel Bryan or finally toppling Mark Henry if he's healthy enough. Maybe a triple threat? Cody Rhodes will get a decisive victory over Goldust in some sort of gimmick match/brawl to retain the IC Title. Those are just general suggestions, and things can always change before the big show, but that's where my head is now.

4. They've heard of that, but they've also heard the opening line to this. So yeah, basically what they said.

5. I'd hate it. Wins and losses are just part of the story and should be treated as such. That system wouldn't take into account things like hard fought losses and squash matches. And do we really need to be reminded that Hornswoggle has one of the best records of the roster? I want wrestling to stay far away from implementing that idea for every superstar (except maybe in special cases like Goldberg).

Mil Mascaras is still scheduled to be inducted into the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame class. It just made more sense for publicity purposes to announce Edge and the Horsemen as the first inductees.

I'm going to break my new rule and feature this because it's hilarious and great all the same: John Cena is part of a promotion with Fruity Pebbles, promoting his and WWE's charity endeavors.

Randy Orton's injury rehab is said to be going well. He's still advertised for next week's Raw taping, so it looks like he won't be missing too much time. That's got to be seen as a good thing for WWE.

Kurt Angle talked about a number of issues regarding TNA. I think he's pretty spot on about the problems the company's having. WWE is undergoing a lot of the same problems. I hope both promotions get their acts together in 2012. If they don't, there are going to be some serious problems down the road when they can't rely on the already-established performers.

Here's the official preview for Impact Wrestling. It's a big gamble putting 2 big PPV rematches on the show after expecting fans to pay to see that line-up less than a week previous. I hope it pays off for them, because it looks short-sighted on paper.

To make up for the canceled Orlando tapings, TNA is filming additional episodes of Impact Wrestling in the UK.

Raw got a 2.9 rating on Monday night going up against the massive BCS Championship game. Hour 1 did a 2.96 and hour 2 did a 2.77. That was definitely an odd episode, and I can easily see how it would be polarizing.

Finally, on the updated listing for WWE PPVs, Vengeance has been dropped from the line-up. This is a move people have asked for for years, so hopefully having more time between each event will pay off with better built storylines and the like. It's a start at addressing some of WWE's creative problems.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
