Questions on WWE losing ground, Desmond Wolfe, and TNA referees, Roode interview, JR update, Angle on Fox and Friends, Swagger interview, Z! TLIS #47, and a possible FCW Diva release

Today's news starts with my take on PWInsider.com's questions:
There's nothing to add to 1. 2 was recently addressed, but they added more to the conversation: They are still making a lot of money every quarter, just not as much as they used to be (generally speaking). Business could be better, but it's not bad by any stretch from a dollars and cents perspective. I generally agree with their answer here. Losing some of their most over and established performers would be pretty damaging. Some would say it's on the way in the coming years as some performers approach and surpass 40 and can't work as regularly the way they have in the past. All those years of bumps and travel really take a toll.

3. Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with that time period to help out. Though I'm curious now...

4. He's back in ROH as they mentioned. I haven't heard definitively what that medical issue was, so I won't spread the popular rumor. He definitely had people thinking he was on the rise to being a breakout star, though I personally found him overrated. He had a lot of praise online, but he didn't live up to it as far as my tastes go. I hope Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Antonio Cesaro don't suffer similar fates when we presumably see them pop up in WWE.

5. I think WWE used to do the same thing as WWF. In fact, I'm pretty sure of it. I like it for the same reason. Keep that name in people's heads.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news. Next up, an interview with TNA World Champion Bobby Roode talking about Hulk Hogan's comments before Bound For Glory.

Bobby Roode talked to The Sun about a number of topics ahead of wrestling in the UK. Good read. Things are turning out well for him after the Hogan episode.

Jim Ross stated that he'll "most likely never" return to announcing with WWE full-time. I don't think this is any sort of surprise to anyone, but apparently this needs to be stated every so often. Much like "it doesn't look like Shane McMahon will be back in WWE any time soon. There's been no word to suggest that he will."

Kurt Angle will be Fox and Friends on 1/6, presumably to talk about TNA's house show in the NYC area and maybe the Olympics. Could be fun, given some of this other interviews.

Jack Swagger talked ahead of a Raw live event. Good read from a talented guy. I'd recommend going to such a show to every wrestling fan. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind thing.

Here's episode #47 of Z! True Long Island Story. This man gets both halves of "sports entertainment". Very entertaining character.

Finally, Leah West has been removed from the FCW roster page, leading some to speculate that she has been released. She was trained by Lance Storm.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
