Flair added to UK tour, WWE live event notes, Impact Wrestling preview, Kidd interview, Questions on WWEs titles, Brutus Beefcake, Evan Bourne, Natalya, and shaving, Ring Ka King available in the US, and JR in car crash

Ric Flair was removed from a TNA house show in MA after being added to their UK tour at the last minute. I'm guessing the decision coming down so late might have something to do with what happened the one time where he wanted to be paid in advance.

Ryback defeated Alex Riley on Friday's WWE Supershow. Mark Henry was advertised, but didn't appear (likely due to his groin injury).

The official preview for Impact Wrestling promotes a tables match between the teams of Bully Ray/Bobby Roode and Jeff Hardy/James Storm. That could work out well.

Tyson Kidd was interviewed in Toronto. A talented guy who's not really doing anything. A team with Curtis would be interesting, though perhaps kind of an odd fit. It's worth giving a shot, though.

After the break, I go into my take on Saturday's PWInsider.com questions. First up, a look at WWE's title unifications.

1. Basically what they said. And of course they're really adamant about the "Divas" name for female competitors. I see what they're going for.

2. Brutus has been labelled as a Hogan suck-up among other things, so I'd take that into account. I do know that Hogan had been frustrated with things behind-the-scenes (Creative directions) and felt that his ideas weren't being utilized and all that, so there might be something to what he says after all. Not that I blame TNA for shooting down AJ Styles' Ric Flair-inspired persona, using the Nasty Boys, or going head-to-head with Raw. It got to the point that it was a running joke online that Hogan was a mole from WWE looking to ruin TNA from within.

3. To add to their answer, I think it's really telling that they did the title switch on a house show instead of waiting until Raw. That's EXTREMELY rare. Hopefully Bourne's bad decision-making won't effect Kofi long-term. He's currently teaming with Mason Ryan on live events to challenge for the titles, but that's possibly just a placeholder until they come up with something else for him to do or someone else for him to team with. As for Bourne, I think he's a pretty talented superstar and hope he gets his act together.

4. They're using her to build up Alicia and Tamina. It's not any kind of punishment of anything that I'm aware of. They just want to see if/how well others can get over, and are using Natalya's talents and experience to help to that end (as a lot of wrestling companies have done for years with other "strong hands" in the ring) It's always possible that they're building towards a Beth/Natalya feud down the line as well, but there aren't any guarantees there.

5. As they said, most do. It's a cosmetic business, and most people don't want to see performers with underarm hair. Body hair in general is a rarity these days.

TNA's Ring Ka King project will be available in the US on the Colors Network via Dish Network's Asian package.

Jim Ross was involved in a car crash Saturday, but should be fine. That second part's good to hear.

That's all for Saturday's news. More to come tonight. Thanks for reading!
