Toxxin dropped from TNA, Race interview, DiBiase gets food poisoning, Questions on giving up on WWE, Jericho/Punk or Rock/Cena, Kane's fire, and the Impact Zone fans, FCW appearances and roster clean-up, Smackdown dark match, R-Truth, Tara, and C.M. Punk talk, Raw's rating, and the identity of the best man on NXT

TNA has officially dropped Toxxin from their roster. They also removed the profiles of Jesse Neal and Jackie Moore since neither of them are under contract with the company anymore. I liked what little we saw of her, so hopefully WWE isn't out of the question for down the line.

Harley Race talked about his training academy and how wrestling has changed since his day. VERY good read. It doesn't get much more old-school and tough than him. Impressive list of graduates. The read makes me wonder if modern companies need to scale back on the spectacle of pyro and the like in favor of the characters performing. Also less scripting and more natural emotion.

Ted DiBiase was unable to make the Las Vegas DiBiase Posse party due to food poisoning. That sucks. Hope he gets better soon, as that seems to be catching on pretty well.

Up next, I go into my own take on PWInsider.com's questions, starting with a general complaint about Raw.

1. Ugh. John Cena vs. The Rock isn't longtime storytelling? Punk vs. Ziggler isn't a serious angle? People online complain so much that WWE probably just ignores it until/unless the target audience is affected. You know what will actually get their attention? Supporting what you DO like about the company. C.M. Punk is being positioned as someone the company can get behind in part because of the big uptick in business around the time of Money In The Bank. THAT'S what they'll respond to. If you want to see change, talk in a language they understand: money.

2. By online fans, absolutely. But the mainstream audience is much more interested in the return of one of the biggest stars ever who they've wanted to see return for years facing off with the biggest name in the industry/ While Punk and Jericho are two of my all-time favorites, I don't think they're realistically at the same level as that match.

There's really not much of anything to add to 3, although I have to sat that that's pretty cool.

4. Unfortunately things aren't usually as easy as they seem. I agree with their assessment of the matter. I'd hire people who wouldn't stand out from the pack since they're just "extras" to the scene.

There's nothing to add to 5. That's another thing that kind of went away after the initial uproar died down.

Layla (1/21), Jack Swagger (1/27), and Road Dogg (2/3) will all be making appearances at FCW live events.

Jinder Mahal, Johnny Curtis, and Ricardo Rodriguez have been removed from the FCW roster, presumably because they're all on the main WWE roster now. Jinder appeared on the most recent addition of FCW TV, so he might not be completely done down there. No word on whether Ricardo will get to show his wrestling acumen on WWE TV at any point.

The pre-Smackdown dark match saw Ryback defeat Tyson Kidd. Been there, done that.

R-Truth talked ahead of a dual-branded live event. That piece was too condescending for my tastes. Evan Bourne won't be appearing. Interesting that they're advertising Ryback since he hasn't been on TV yet.

Tara talked about the transition from WWE to TNA and more. It's not easy being cast aside in order to help others improve. The Knockouts division is doing pretty well, so the comparison she makes isn't totally off the mark.

C.M. Punk had a Q&A ahead of a Raw live event. I've yet to read something from him that wasn't interesting enough to recommend. I like that his training is varied instead of just going balls to the wall in one area.

Raw did a 3.0 on Monday. Not too bad, but of course could have been better. Advertising Mick Foley would have probably helped things, though that likely kept some from tuning out (and had some tuning in later on in the show).

Finally, Johnny Yuma of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla was the man who accompanied Johnny Curtis to the wedding on NXT. I'm guessing it was just a special cameo like Maxine's and Bateman's parents appearing. If there's more on the story, I'll be sure to talk about it.

That's all for Wednesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
