More Hogan press (including talking about pushing for Roode to lose at BFG), Sonnen talks Punk, Ziggler interview, Questions on ROH history, another ECW reunion, and HoF speeches, rematch made for Smackdown, Hogan returns to the ring, interviews with David Hart Smith, Chris Masters, and Miz, and some new matches for Against All Odds

Hulk Hogan was interviewed at the HQ for The Sun. Kind of fun in its own way.

Update: Here's another Hogan interview, by TalkSport.

Chael Sonnen talked about C.M. Punk not being able to accompany him to the ring among other things.

Dolph Ziggler briefly talked about his WWE career and Sunday's WWE Title match. Good little read. 2012 should be a big year for him.

For my thoughts on PWInsider.com's Thursday questions:
1. Wow, that is kind of confusing. I had always just heard it as something like there being new owners each time.

2 and 3 are very straightforward, so I'll move to 4. Believe it or not, there's apparently a decent-sized contingent of such nostalgic fans still around. There'd have to be for some of these people to still have careers in 2012. I'm guessing some of them were fans then but aren't fans of the current products.

About the only thing to add to 5 is that Flair has been told that he'll have 7 minutes. So that's at least better than some of what we've seen in the past.

After the break, I go into the rest of Thursday's news, starting with a new match for Smackdown.

Cody Rhodes vs. Justin Gabriel has been set for this week's Smackdown. Good.

Hulk Hogan returned to the ring in the UK, teaming with Sting and James Storm to defeat Bobby Roode, Kurt Angle, and Bully Ray. Storm got the pinfall. No bumps for Hogan.

The former David Hart Smith talked about his career in and after WWE. I agree that WWE could have done better with him (ditto for Tyson and Natalya).

Chris Masters also briefly mentioned WWE in a promo for an indie appearance.

In a third Hulk Hogan interview, he talked about his decision to rally against Bobby Roode winning the TNA Championship at Bound For Glory. Looking back, I do think that was the right decision. The character is MUCH more interesting now than the tired "man looking to live his dream that he's worked for all these years" tripe. That whole character arc and alignment was quite overrated then.

The Miz was interviewed in Abu Dhabi. Pretty basic stuff. The Half-Nelson Facebuster actually is the Skull-Crushing Finale.

Finally, here's the updated official lineup for TNA Against All Odds:
Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley for the X-Division Title
Gail Kim vs. Tara for the Knockouts Title
Matt Morgan and Crimson vs. Samoa Joe and Magnus for the Tag Team Titles
Jesse Sorensen vs. Zema Ion for the #1 Contendership to the X-Division Title
AJ Styles vs. Kazarian (with Christopher Daniels)

Not a bad line-up so far. Obviously missing a TNA Title match, but that will be rectified in the remaining 2 weeks of Impact Wrestling.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tonight. Thanks for reading!
