Main Event:
Sheamus vs. Barrett was pretty solid. Both guys have benefited greatly from their experience. I enjoyed the pre- and post-match as well.
Truth vs. Slater was fine.
Alex Wright talked about a number of WCW topics.
Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
WWE has apparently changed Johnny Curtis' new character name from Fandangoo to Fandango. It's not a good sign that they're changing things already. They should have had that squared away before doing a video package (unless they just showed the wrong one on Monday).
Christopher Daniels was part of a TNA conference call.
JBL has signed on for a full-time spot doing commentary on Smackdown. Good.
C.M. Punk talked about Avengers vs. X-Men.
William Regal and Wade Barrett talked in Britain.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I've always heard that Hulk Hogan had the first contract in WWF and set the trend for everyone else.
2. I don't think it destroyed Punk's credibility, but they definitely could have done better.
3. It would indeed take some rehabilitation of the IC and US Titles for that plan to work. I still don't see it as a plus to get rid of belts with such long-standing prestige.
4. He's in as DLC. Here's the current roster.
5. That'd be pretty cool I think.
More wrestling tomorrow!
