I should first note that I missed the 11/3 episode of Saturday Morning Slam! Here's a quick recap: I liked El Local vs. Sin Cara, but didn't like the silliness of Rhodes vs. Clay. Local is Ricardo Rodriguez, and he has been working live events as that character.
Saturday Morning Slam (11/17):
R-Truth vs. Regal was kind of a waste of time. Nothing was really accomplished.
Kofi vs. Ryder was good! It got silly in places, but overall they brought some good wrestling.
Cody Rhodes has a separated shoulder and some torn muscles, but won't require surgery. He could work Survivor Series after all. I hope he doesn't get further injured.
Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
AJ Lee will present evidence about Vickie Guerrero at Survivor Series. Meh.
Chase Donovan, Lincoln Broderick, and Nick Rogers have been removed from the NXT roster page, which usually signals that a talent has been released. Donovan wrestled one match during his time in developmental, a loss in under 3 minutes. Broderick wrestled two matches in developmental. The only one that aired was a loss in under 2 minutes. Rogers was a perennial match loser in both FCW and NXT. So basically they released people who they didn't see as prospects for the main roster.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Maybe he's better at it now? But that is a good point!
2. Hogan. It's always something crazy with him.
3. I think they feel that he's ready for the main roster.
4. I would think that would mean splitting up the production people and I don't know if they'd want to do that. It's a neat idea at any rate.
5. He might be back on your TV screen soon!
More wrestling coming up!
