Query on Mercury-TNA, Superstars change, Interviews with Richards/Austin, Rhodes injury, potential new Survivor Series match, McIntyre update, new faces on TV soon?, possible upcoming WWE signing, NXT releases, and a Question on JR

First up, a query:
1. I don't see Joey Mercury popping up in TNA any time soon. He's a trainer in NXT.

It seems that WWE has moved Superstars from Thursday to Friday. It will now be paired with Smackdown.

Stevie Richards talked about WWE, TNA, and Extreme Rising.

Cody Rhodes was indeed injured during the taping for WWE Main Event and might miss Survivor Series. Tensai is on tap to replace him, which is a good choice.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

There's talk of adding a new elimination match to Survivor Series: The Primetime Players/Epico/Primo vs. Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara/Justin Gabriel/Tyson Kidd. That would be a good match!

Drew McIntyre is missing time from the road and TV due to a death in the family. Sad to hear that.

There's also talk of debuting some new performers from NXT. Awesome. Here's a list of potential candidates, based on people who have worked live events or dark matches for the main roster within the past three months:
Big E Langston
Dean Ambrose
Leo Kruger
Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins
Xavier Woods

There's also talk in signing Ricky Reyes after he got high marks from both Triple H and William Regal. It's gotten so far that writers have come up with character ideas for him.  If he's got talent, I'd like to see him.

The Miz was turned babyface for a few reasons: the character's gone as far as he can go as a heel, he does a lot of promotional work for the company, and there's interest in several WWE Studios projects that would perhaps go over better if he was a babyface. Sound logic.

WWE has released Chad Baxter and Louis Fontaine from NXT. Fontaine asked for his release, saying he has things to accomplish before being ready for WWE and didn't want them paying for his upcoming surgery.

Stone Cold was interviewed on a number of topics. A good listen as always. WWE, make this man an offer to face C.M. Punk!!!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I do like JR being used to scout talent. I'd love for him to do announcing full-time, but I accept that the business has moved on. I think WWE mostly did the appreciation night because the show was in Oklahoma and they knew they'd get a pop for it.

Nothing to add to 2-5.

2.
