Read on for my thoughts on last night's Raw.
Ziggler can't even beat Orton with interference. WWE does a piss-poor job of building credible performers at times.
Kofi should be protected, too. They need to be really consistent with who they're building. Kofi should have momentum as the new IC Champ. If someone has to take the fall, have it be Orton (the guy with multiple World Titles to his name already.) It doesn't hurt him nearly as much to lose, as he can easily be put back into a credible position.
Not a bad continuation of Cena-AJ/Dolph-Vickie. I hope the feud means something for Dolph and AJ since Cena and Vickie are pretty much permanently over.
No problem with Show killing Regal since Regal is pretty much a non-wrestler at this point.
Good post-match.
I KNOW Kaitlyn and Layla could do better with more time. Ugh.
Amazing Punk segment. Twisted and sick, but amazing. Lawler's a hell of a sport to be ok with them making an angle out of his very scary health issues. Foley's always good for a cheap pop.
Solid eight-man tag. The NXT alumni have grown since their days in competition.
Interesting Dolph/Miz/Foley segment.
I liked Cesaro's promo.
Truth vs. Tensai was fine, as was the post-match.
I like the set-up for Maddox vs. Ryback.
Ryback's a freakin' BEAST. I hope he continues to grow as a competitor and has big things in his future. He's only 31!
Excellent post-match. It will be very interesting to see what they do with Ryback in the months to come. If they handle it right, I think they have something with him.
Sheamus vs. Otunga was fine to show that Sheamus is still in top form. Him remaining a credible force is more important than protecting Otunga.
I liked the post-match. Good use of Regal.
I liked the Survivor Series preview match. Miz makes a good addition to Foley's team. I think he could work as a face.
Fine match between Punk and Cena: they didn't "give away" too much.
And a good post-match to establish everyone's claim to the title.
More wrestling coming up!
