NXT talent released, TNA cuts back on PPVs, TNA backstage sentiment, note on Morgan, Impact viewership, and Questions on WWE/TNA angles, Stevie Richards, the Freebirds, and TNA growing

NXT's Kenneth Cameron, of the Ascension, was released following an arrest. He had previously been arrested in 2011.  That's really a shame as the Ascension had a unique look and gimmick. Here's hoping the idea isn't totally scrapped.

With Lockdown being moved to March, TNA Against All Odds has been scratched from the calendar. There could be more dates scratched as well. This could be a good thing. Given how most PPVs end up with matches thrown on them at the last minute, this would mean that at least some shows will have proper build.

The backstage mood in TNA is more positive than it has been in a while, due to Creative having more long-term plans in place. That's good. They have done a better job at that lately.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Hulk Hogan has been working closely with Matt Morgan to further develop him. I hope that leads to good things. Hogan isn't exactly known for picking winners (Styles as Flair, bringing in the Nasty Boys, etc.).

The most recent Impact drew in 1.3 million people. Not bad.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There are some similarities, but I don't think either company said "let's do what the other guys are doing."

2. Different people have different opinions on the man. He can be both.

3. I guess no one pushed for it hard enough. Ultimately it's up to Vince.

4. TNA does continue to grow, with more tapings outside of Orlando, Ring Ka King, TNA British Bootcamp, signing new stars from Gut Check, etc.. Things aren't as good as they could be, but it's mostly good news.

5. I haven't read enough to know!

More wrestling tomorrow.
