Bryan on SportsCenter notes, Titus suspended, more on Bryan retirement, ROH ticket issues, Punk undergoing surgery, more matches for ROH PPV, Vince supporting Bret, WWE live event note, Total Divas audience, more ECW on the Network, Bloom on upcoming NXT tryouts, and Questions on using WCW talent in 2001 vs. using NXT talent, Kalisto as the next Rey, too many Styleses in WWE, a surprise Rumble winner, and ROH going live

Some notes on Daniel Bryan's SportsCenter appearance:
- Bryan having a lesion on his brain causing seizures is a really scary thing. They absolutely made the right call in shelving him.

- It will be interesting to see what's next for Bryan. I definitely think WWE's going to raise awareness about concussions after this.

- Bryan's remarks about remembering the experience of seeing him wrestle were really touching.

WWE has released a T-shirt for Francesca. New Day is OVER. They've got a hit on their hands.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Titus O'Neil was sent home from Smackdown and suspended as a result of grabbing Mr. McMahon in a playful, but physical manner at the end of Raw as Vince was headed to the back. Vince shoved Titus away, and was was upset at the action. The feeling was that Titus was acting inappropriately for Bryan's big retirement ceremony. The suspension could be for more than 90 days. I think that's absolutely out of proportion to what Titus did. Send him home for a few weeks if you must, but that's just ridiculous. Titus has been a model employee for the company, and now he'll be missing a big payday at WM32.

- WWE removed footage of the end of Raw in order to edit out the snippet of Vince being grabbed that made air to close Raw before re-uploading it. So, yeah, this was a big deal.

- Batista encouraged his friend to ask for his release from WWE. I hope Titus doesn't do that. He needs to lie low and let this blow over unless he's fed up with working there and has another career lined up (with some money in the bank).

- Mick Foley gave his support to Titus. I'm glad this is getting attention; hopefully that helps Titus whatever his future is.

- The New York Post covered Titus' suspension. While I think the racism accusations are off-point and an overreaction the overreaction, I'm glad Titus is getting support. Reducing the suspension to 60 days is a nice start, but it's just a start and probably wouldn't have happened without this getting press. I just hope Titus doesn't get buried when he does bet back. Once he serves his time, get back to using him as someone the fans can get behind.

The actor who played Dr. Shelby for Daniel Bryan's anger management skits said goodbye to the performer. That's HILARIOUS. Kudos to him for doing that.

There were some issues with the pre-sale of tickets for the ROH-NJPW War of the Worlds event in May. That's going to be a really big show for them, so they definitely want to make sure the die-hard fans get tickets to it ASAP.

Daniel Bryan thanked fans for the big outpouring of support for him. It's going to be tough letting go of seeing him as part of WWE.

C.M. Punk will be undergoing surgery for a herniated disc in his back, which has been bothering him since his wrestling days. The surgery is expected to keep him out for four-to-six weeks, so he'll miss his scheduled UFC debut.

Oficially added to ROH's 14th Anniversary PPV:
- The Young Bucks/Kenny Omega vs. KUSHIDA/ACH/Matt Sydal
- Tomohiro Ishii vs. Hirooki Goto

It might as well be a co-branded show with NJPW. I'm not complaining; it's just "ROH and friends" more than ROH.

Vince McMahon wished Bret Hart good luck going into prostate surgery. We're all pulling for the Hitman here.

Cesaro made a special appearance at WWE's live event in Germany, announcing the main event. I hope we see him back before too much longer.

The audience for the most recent episode of "Total Divas" was 810,000. That's even further down from the first two weeks.

WWE Network has uploaded the rest of the ECW Hardcore TV episodes from 1998, and has also added some from 1999. They also plan on putting up episodes of ECW on TNN in the near future.

NXT head coach Matt Bloom, formerly Albert/A-Train/Tensai, tweeted about working with Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura. I haven't heard anything official about Nakamura being signed, but there also hasn't been anything suggesting complications in the process.

- Bloom also tweeted about the upcoming WWEPC tryouts. As always, it will be interesting to see what names get picked up for NXT.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Not at all. WCW in 2001 was a much bigger deal than NXT is now, so I don't think it compares. The hyperbole of how the NXT talents are being treated is unreal. Honestly, there's also exaggeration of how much money there was to be made with the WCW roster.

2. I think he does need to "be his own performer," but realistically, Rey Mysterio had a really big influence on the lucha scene. There are going to be similarities. As long as he doesn't try to copy every little detail (619, West Coast Pop, etc.), I think he'll be fine in that regard.

3. I don't see WWE changing any of it. If Eden does become a wrestler, she'll probably just use her first name. The name AJ Styles is pretty important and well-known, so I think he's safe.

4. Mehhhh. I like Titus, but I don't think they should have thrown that kind of curve ball just for the hell of it. Reigns vs. HHH has years of build to it (back to when The Shield first turned face). And honestly, a lot of things aren't surprises because fans seek out every bit of info.

5. I don't know about the near future, but I definitely think there are good chances of seeing live ROH content on Sinclair's new channel.

More wrestling tomorrow.
