Nakamura contract news, AJ to hit the road for WWE, WM32 promotion, ROH-NJPW dates announced, Sunny autiobiography released, ECW original passes, and Questions on Tammy Sytch's adult film, Strowman at WM32, Mulligan's health, and WWE/Jetsons

Shinsuke Nakamura has been offered a three-year deal with WWE, pending medical testing and the like. I'm excited to see how he'll do.

AJ Styles will begin working live events for WWE this weekend after finishing his contracted dates outside the promotion. It's pretty telling how in-demand he was that he had dates booked so far in advance.

WWE is testing interest in discounts for live events and action figures, sometimes in conjunction.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Sgt. Slaughter promoted WM32 in Texas. Expect a LOT of promotion as we get closer to that date.

ROH has announced dates for the War of the Worlds tour with NJPW to follow their Global Wars event: May 9 in  Michigan, May 11 in Toronto, and May 14 in New York.

WWE Hall of Famer Sunny's autobiography was just released at a time when she's been the subject of some less-than-flattering headlines. It's a shame she might be remembered more for her post-WWE problems than her on-screen roles.

ECW original Axl Rotten has passed away at the age of 44. PWInsider has a heartfelt, in-depth look at his career and life. That's a tragic story. I wish he would have been able to get a handle on the darker parts of himself.

Update: WWE issued a statement on his passing.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I try not to think of it, honestly. It's not related to her work as a wrestler (ditto for her legal issues), so I don't pay any mind to it.

2. At one point, the talk was Brock vs. Strowman. It's clear Vince likes Strowman and is going to do something big with him at WM32. I think he could work as an attraction at the show in the sense Akebono or Andre was. As long as they also have some great technical action and other things to balance it out, I think it should be fine to have a match featuring their latest mastadon/Frankenstein's monster. Whether it will get over with the "smart" fans or if Strowman's ready for that kind of stage is  another story altogether.

3. Hopefully the lack of news is a good sign. I REALLY hope he pulls through OK.

4. I think the audience for their site is probably skewed toward liking ECW, so it might be a ploy for that audience (like the anti-Vince rhetoric).

5. I really hope Mecha McMahon is in charge of WWE in that universe. I'm sure Cena still wins in the year 2062...

More wrestling tomorrow.
